If you want to get into MD, this is an easy choice. It's a dying format granted but some of the best transfers I've heard from vinyl, for example, have been via MD. A buddy of mine is an MD and vinyl fiend and this is choice media, bottom line. I don't question it, I just enjoy it.
I'll include a couple vinyl compilations via MD for your listening pleasure, so you realize there is value in the idea. Again, $60 to check out something new, AND get some listening material?
Includes: Original remote control and user manual.
Remember.....audio is about having fun, exploring, experiencing new things, making your own opinion....you may find out that you actually dig it.
Is it cool? Yea. Do I have a MD player handy for 2CH rig shite? Yea, of course I do.

Halo backed out of the Pioneer, so it's back up for sale. Victor, I'll refund your money later tonight.
I know the Mini-Disc may not be a huge head turner but I lowered the price on it to $50/shipped. Take a plunge, try something new. I received the Parasound HCA-1000A today. . . HEY MAN THE THING LOOKS BRAND NEW!!! I mean if it isn't then you need some serious psychiatric help for obsessive/compulsive disorder.:p
Seriously thanks so much, the thing is beyond mint inside and out. Even my wife looked at it and said, "well that won't last long in that room, Mark really knows how to take care his gear" which was a direct shot at me meaning I have to dust my rig every day or else you can write your name in the dust. Bad static issues in there.
Thanks so much Mark. It's a pleasure doing business with you.

Ok, so I'm reading thru my new DVD manual, because it won't play any dvd's. I get audio just fine, but the picture won't come in. The manual says it only accepts component cables for progressive scan tv's?!? I don't have a progressive scan tv. I have to use an S vid cable until I upgrade to my HDTV?!
You have to be kidding me!
