There are no more clamps available.

TO ALL WHO HAVE PURCHASED THE CLAMPS, YOU OWN ONE OF ONLY 25 IN CIRCULATION THAT I AM AWARE OF IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM!!!

Should you ever decide to sell your clamp I ask that you give me the first shot at purchasing it.

Thanks to all you guys and I am sure this is the last record clamp you will ever need to purchase.

I'm sorry, but you'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Honestly Joe, I don't know how or why anyone would own a turntable without one.

Because he doesn't make them anymore?
    Ludicrous gibs!

That was my personal clamp. I am now using the spare which is the very last clamp I had made. I've been trying to drum up the necessary funds and investers to have more made but it is a very expensive venture.

I'm glad you like it Mike.

Mike you can turn that cap more than half-way if you come across some stubborn warps.

Try going half a turn, it will couple the record tighter to the platter.

In the mean time, reviving that thread was like a blade; "Going through the reading from 2006 - 2007 to find out the clamp going from 130$ + Shipping to 400$ + shipping and suddenly not being available no more". I then tought, how did this wind-up in my daily reading, very confusing! Anyway, I wish I could have been a member then.

This is all for the positive anyway as likely I've been going through all of the possible info on cleaning etc... This is also an eye opener on a good tweek (as a DJ many years ago, I noticed the problem that a not well secured vinyl could do to the audio outcome/end result).

With the re-gaining popularity of the "retro-vinyl" technology, I hope it works out for you. Maybe some of the Polkies that bought and love the product would be willing to venture with you ;)

    Cheers!

A note to Joe: I have owned this clamp for a quarter century or so, and love it. I had not seen other clamps with the features this has, which I see as essential. I'm an acoustician and mechanical engineer so I have a perspective that allows me to appreciate the execution as well as the sonic results. I had trouble recalling the name and the source, but a fellow on Head-Fi filled me in. Just want to thank you and encourage you or someone to take up the manufacture of this or a derivative. If not, thanks for all the music. PS: I use it on a Merrill Heirloom with lead platter. I've wedged the peripheral clamp onto the platter using electrical tape to fill the gap... this removes a ringing of the peripheral clamp (at least my generation of it). The Clamp is successful in making the peripheral weight moot.

Thanks. But I don't recommend the ETII with a subchassis such as this... it can bounce if your floor isn't solid. Also, with my high-compliance AQ 7000 cartridge, it is hard to set up to get deep bass. I may try again soon.

I hear you! My lead filled rack sits on a suspended floor, not the best for a turntable, either rigid or suspended chassis. A Gingko Cloud solved all my problems with pivoted arms. However with the linear air bearing arm, if the Gingko platform is moving in the same plane as the arm, I can get skips with foot falls by the rack. With the air arm and heavy plinth I shouldn't have to worry about isolation, but the larger Gingko base keeps me from bumping the table when I place the acrylic cover over it (or our cat gets on it).

I too have owned one of Joe's clamps for about six years or so. I recently glanced at an eBay ad, it appear that this seller has copied Joe's clamp in form and function. He may have actually improved it, I am not affiliated with this seller. Take a look at the link and pay attention to the very last picture. That IS Joe's clamp, no doubt about it!!! Look Here
