You can check eBay or Audigon. The SDA-SRS will run from anywhere from $1,000 to $1,600. The 1.2TL's can go from $1,500 to $2,500. All prices depending on lcation, condition, etc. These don't ship easily. Each cabinent is about 5'-6" tall and weighs 185 lbs.

Shipping is a risky business. My 3.1 were busted all to hell....merry christmas....MAKE SURE AND GET INSURANCE. And inspect package and make the driver wait while you open the package. write down any damage and have him write it down as well.

Check eBay, Audigon, and craigslist and be patient. Once I decided on buying a pair, I waited 5 months for a pair to show up that was in great shape, reasonably priced and close enough for me to pick up.

They are a bit hard to come by, specially in good shape. The three avenues i would check would be Audiogon, your local Craigslist and Ebay.

Might want to check your local paper also, slim chance but you wont know til you look.

I have a pair of these monoliths that I may be willing to sell. They are in excellent condition and employ the SL 3000 tweeters. Although I love these speakers and am not impatient about selling them, I also love my SDA 1a's of which I am the original owner. My wife prefer's the smaller 1a's (for home design reasons). Where do you live? I may be able to load them on my trailer and meet you. I live in Charlotte, NC. I have plenty of photos see attached. Since I have not officially put these bad boys on the selling block, you are the first to have a chance. I suppose I'll take $2300.

I know where a Nakamichi PA-7 amplifier is at. I think the guy wants about $800 for it. He is the original owner, too. He sold the matching preamp a few years back.

I have a pair of SDA Loudspeakers that I purchased in about 1990 or 1991. There were two versions then that I remember, real wood cabinets or something man-made. I bought the real wood and paid over $1800.00 for the set. They are in VERY good shape and sound great. I live in Michigan and I am very new to this forum. The serial # off of the left speaker is LSDA IA2141. I no longer have the manual that came with the speakers but if you contact Polk, I'm sure that they could provide you with the specs. Write me back and I'll be happy to answer any questions for you. robert@autumnlife.com or 248-689-1490 Sorry-SOLD on 1/14/2007

Reagan and Robert Judd, you're circumventing the Flea Market rules. You MUST have 25 posts or more to sell anything in any area of this forum.

I was simply responding directly to the initial post of this thread that specifically asked where he/she could find a set. I suppose the proper protocol would have been to post the speakers in the classified section and then respond accordingly. I apologize to the club members for this mistake. Now that I expressed a willingness to sell them, I will post the speakers in the classified area. Thanks.

Sorry if I overstepped any rules. I am not familiar with using this site. All new to me. I was responding to someone who was looking for a set of SDA speakers. Didn't mean to cross anybody. Not sure what the "25 posts" rule even is, or to post in a classified section. Again, Sorry.

I bought mine August 12th for $1500 on ebay, $1800 including expenses to get them. I drove over 700 miles round trip to pick them up. DO NOT BUY THEM IF YOU CAN'T PICK THEM UP YOURSELF. Be patient a pair will show up within driving distance of you.

Stop breaking the rules that is no way to get initiated and accepted into this family. It's like the mafia, you have to do some "things" before you get in and like the mafia once your in you can only get out feet first. LOL;) :D

After many hours with decoder ring in hand, here's what he means:

Early on in the post 98thumpin' referenced a Nakamich Pa-7 amp. Avguytx said he knew where one was FS for $800. Now 98thumpin is asking where the guy is because he is interested in purchasing.

    I have to rest now, I'm exhausted!! :D:p .

Geez, the 3.1TL's are not that big of a speaker. Do you mean you don't have room for the suggested placement of the SDA's? I know they will eat up a 20' wall with no problem.
