I installed a '99 intake when I dropped the new motor in. It uses curved equal length runners instead of square-ish runners that were used prior to 99. The newer intake adds 15-20 HP over stock.

Wow, that exhaust sounds pretty wicked! I'm not sure if it's mainly the muffler, exhaust manifold, or the stroker...so I guess I'll just have to get all three! :D:D

The stroker made a pretty big difference, that's a given. But i was really surprised at the bass notes the new header opened up.:)

I have built a couple of Chevy motors, a 383 and a 406 small block. Neither of them went anywhere near planned, from wrong parts showing up at the front door to a cylinder being ovular. Once everything comes together though, it is a sweet, sweet day. Not to mention the first time it runs. Good luck man.
