Nice. Hey, if he really wants them, I'm sure we can come up with something. With the upgrades, your damn near giving them away.

Troy, as good as your speaks sound, these big boys will fill the room a bit better. Bigger sound, IMO, but wouldn't that seem obvious....Buy them. Polk Fest will take on a new level. Plus, your wife is super cool about the gear, so you don't have to factor that in to the mix. And...you don't have to do any upgrades or playing with hot metal guns. That's worth a couple hundred bucks right there.

Not to worry, Anthony. It's the extended, Stow-N-Go. They'd fit in there fine, padded and stacked with plenty of room for a single second row passenger and all our other bags, coolers (fireworks), etc.

You could set them up in the front yard and launch bottle rockets off the top....Troy, man up. FREE DELIVERY to boot!!!!!???????

I'm on the fence about the leftovers as well....just what I need, another speaker in the house :)
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I think I'll pass on the SRS's. I'd LOVE to have them however, I'd have to move the 2.3tl's to do it which presents it's own set of issues....

I've seen/heard Mike's SRS's....7/10 is VERY conservative. These are the real deal.

I've heard these particular SDA SRS in person. Magic happened when Mike did the tweeter replacement and crossover rebuild. They have a very pure sound. It was hard to listen to mine with stock crossovers when I got home. I have not upgraded mine yet but at least now I have a reference. :)

By all means, keep the wife away from the cutlery!

My wife is very cool about the speaker clutter I create. In fact, she couldn't believe it when I told her I'd offered all these for sale. But, I'm simply getting too old to wrestle these cabinets around a three level home.

The RTA12 is by far the best RTA in the bunch. It's the only one that actually employs a Real Time Array(RTA), the rest are glorified monkey coffins.

Thanks Mark. I enjoyed them more than the two small SDAs I've had, and immensely more than the Monitor 11s with Peerless tweeters.

BTW - I did decide what I want to try next. Innersound Isis MK 3.5 with custom built active crossover (the "reference" version of the Isis that Innersound said was coming, but never materialized.) The local seller just delivered them. Should be fun. I've never owned electrostatics, Maggies were as close as I got--and, I enjoyed them for 30 years.
