Hopefully you don't agree with this quote from the speech:
If there had been a better sense of preparation, if we had a leadership that was more mature. We did not fight back in the same way that the British fought the IRA or the Spanish government fought the Basques here. Terrorism is a manageable action. It can be lived with."
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

just another holywood hippie that just doesnt get it. Helps that he was confortably 3000+ miles away when the buildings came crashing down, and planes crashed all over the joint.

if that mindset ran the country, we would either be

    a) speaking german, thanks to **** conquest
    b) speaking russian, thanks to Soviet Union conquest, or
    c) all converting to Islam in an effort to appease the terrorists.

When people want to kill us, we have to kill them first. I dont get what is so hard about that. Overreacted to 9/11?, it must be great to have hollywood money so you can afford the best drugs money can buy, I swear to GOD!!!

    funny. :p

I'm not the radical you want to make me out to be JD. Just because we have differing political opinions on 90% of what's out there, that doesn't make either one of us radical, which is purely subjective btw... just different.

    HE IS A JERK OFF!!!

What would a movie writer/director who by the way twists all of the stories he makes movies about, know about how to run this country? He is entitled (just like the rest of us) to his opinion but he is a big Dick!.
"It is a shame because it is a waste of energy to see that the entire world five years later is still convulsed in the grip of 9/11."

"It's a waste of energy away from things that do matter which is poverty, death, disease, the planet itself and fixing things in our own homes rather than fighting wars with others. Mr. Bush has set America back 10 years, maybe more."

This smacked **** makes the US out to be the reason the world is in the grips of war. We were attacked not once but several times by Muslem extremists who by the way attack daily and kill their own people who disagree with their dogma or politics. They attack Great Britian, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Dutch and any other modern democratic society. He is the epitome of a horses ****. We have not been attacked since 9/11 because we took the fight to them on their turf not ours and freed two countries from their (Muslem extremists) facist regemes. Maybe the war in Irag wasn't planned with the greatest of plans but we are a hell of a lot safer now than we were on 9/10.

"That's the evil that turns its mind and ears on humanity and is able to say `I can kill a person in the name of God or religion.' This is not a human being, this a fanatic. And I fear that fanaticism is the result of our overreaction to 9/11," said Stone.

What about all the atrocities before 9 / 11! I guess that is our fault too. All of the attacks and problems since the Iranian take over of the US Embassy in 1976. "Overreation" he says . . . we were attacked, more INOCENT people were killed in that one morning than all of the attacks the Japanese had pulled off the day of Pearl Harbor. It took us almost six years of all out total war to bring the Japanese to their knees. This guy is on planet Stoned.

So we should just sit around wondering what they are going to do next and where . . . I still maintain that we haven't been attacked since 9 11 and we are fighting over there not over here. We have forced them to fight where we want them to fight not where they can attack us. We have to be perfect they only have to succeed 1/2 of 1% and they haven't in the US since 9 11.

You may want to read the whole unclassified section and you'd realize how asinine your comment is.

This battle is similar to the civil rights movement. As soon as there was a push for equality, membership to the KKK and blank panthers skyrocketted. Did this mean it wasn't the right thing to do? Should we have stopped the civil rights movement because extremist groups became larger and more violent? Are civil rights now better than before the 70's?

The only mistake we can make at this point is to continue emboldening the radicals. Imagine if the US said "well, Georgia and Mississippi are getting a little violent so they can go back to the racist ways that they had before this." Yeah, that will make the problem go away....

NEWS FLASH . . .the KKK and Black Panthers are/were AMERICAN CITIZENS as were the people they were trying to hold down. The terrorists want to take our way of life away from us, civil rights and all.

How can you equate the Civil Rights movement in this country to what foreign facists are trying to impose on the free world. Who is being asinine?

    ED ZACHARY!!!!

If anyone believes that what our government has/is doing about terrorism isn't/hasn't worked is in denial and just want to bash the current administration and are grasping at straws because they don't like this administration. The facts are that we have deterred terrrorism(in our borders) 100% for over 5 years now. Noone wants to report that.

Take some lessons from the past.

Im sure when we declared war on Japan and Germany that recruitment for the **** and Kamikazes increased as well.

But luckily we had leadership with balls and so we didnt worry about making the **** mad or offending the Japanese, we just killed them.

Now we dont have to worry about them at all.

Honestly, I believe that if we had to fight WWII in this day and age, we would lose.

Imagine the traitor michael moore making propaganda movies for the **** (along with Hollywood and most Democrat Senators). Or the left (along with John McCain and Lindsy Graham) worrying about how well we treated the **** POW's. Or imagine FDR being sued by the treasonous aclu for his treatment of POW's. Or the obsession about no civillian casualties or the unwillingness to suffer casualties ourself.

I just dont think society today would be capable of fighting WWII. ONe of the greatest men in history, Winston Churchill, would be ashamed.

It took 3 years because we took out the Taliban first. After we did that, then we had to start working on Iraq. We did so by going thru the UN making our case to them.

They in turn passed resolution after resolution telling Saddam to disarm and let inspectors in or else. He refused so they passed another resolution. Eventualy they passed the resolution that said we'd take him out if he didnt comply. He didnt and so we took him out. Contrary to popular left wing propaganda, we did try to resolve this thru diplomatic channels and that took time. We knew it wouldnt work because the UN had been passing resolutions for over a decade but refused to enforce them because they were **** deep in the Oil for Food bribery scandal!

But yeah, youre right. This war is f**ked up. I wish the terrorists had never started it. But they did so we are obliged to finish it.

fact of the matter is, the Iraq war keeps the terrorists assets (a majority of them anyway) oversees, instead of working here, figuring out ways to kill us. If we cut and run from iraq, guess where all those insurgents are coming. HERE!

weve become pretty impatient as a nation, this is going on for a LONG time. it sucks, for all of us, the soldiers risking and giving there lives, it sucks big time, but these people want to kill us and take our way of life. I dont know about you, but I like this way of life. you DO NOT want there way of life, and I'm pretty sure you dont want to be dead either.

this is not about republican or democrat, liberal or condervative. its about self preservation.

I hope at least some of it is doing it in a way where we're not solely left to clean up and commit and endless billion dollar supply to every other country in the world that we feel should be cleaned up........

We need a price put on it and then not go any more. I laugh when i remember the first quoted numbers being something like 10 or 15 billion..............HA.
