You guys are killin' me with this "I'm finished" ****. In fact, you've only just begun. The longer you hang out on this forum, the worse it gets. Deal with it.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. I won't be "finished" upgrading until I'm dead.(But...I'm having all my gear buried with me..."just in case".)

Very impressive. I especially like the matched cherry finish of speakers, a/v furniture and wood floors.

What more could he possibly want to get??? He has a solid receiver with all the bells & whistles he could want acting as a preamp, a kick butt amplifier that will run anything he throws at it, & Polk's top of the line speakers! And all the rest is nothing to sneeze at either!

I'd say he's done as well!:D All that's left to say is GOOD JOB!! ENJOY!:)

Those cables have gotta go. And Shannon -- ditch the subs, dude. It's the weakest link in the chain.

Right now I don't have an extra $1500 sit'n around to buy the SVS PB12-2 "Cherry of course".
Also Whats wrong with my cables? :D To let you know I have Never payed Retail for them. Most of them have been bought on ebay or from Stores that were going out of Business so most of then I paid Penny's on the Dollar. Shannon

Like everything else in audio, cables can (and should) be upgraded. Start with the analog cables between your amp and pre, and whatever type of cable you're using for the DVD player. You should hear an improvement in sound quality. Lots of choices, bro. Try Audioquest, though.

I'm using Monster Cable Datalink100 Digital Coax. Whats the difference between one Co. 75 ohm Coax and another Co. 75 ohm Coax? Not being smart just asking. And thanks for comments guys. Its been a long hard road to get the wife to allow me to spend the coinage for the Modest theater that I have put together. Shannon

It's hard to quantify the differences. But some folks can hear the difference. The only way to tell is to try.

M cables are ok, nothing stellar. Overpriced as hell.
