Tumbleweed Connection is excellent on SACD, but it was well recorded from the get go. Best EJ/BT combo. "Where to now St. Peter" is outstanding in multi channel. Question asked & answered, "Can an Englishmen do country rock"?
By the way, Kinks is "crunching". Check out Muswell Hillbillies in SACD. More "Acute Schizophrenia Paranoia Blues" english country rock.
Just sayin' -
Oki doki, but it's still not cheap.
she is worth it.................I've spent way more for two and a half minutes of pure adulterated red light enjoyment, either way money well spent but the disc will last you a very long long time.

No. You can rip the CD layer to computer, but not the hi-rez layer. -

As of today, the last day of November 2009....New SACD releases (through November of respective year)
2006....701
2007....644
2008....567
2009....532
November 2009 saw a blistering 70 new SACD titles added to sa-cd.net. 550 new SACD titles is almost guaranteed for 2009 since the newly announced Nat "King" Cole, Elvis, Sam Cooke, Doobie Bros. etc. titles have not been added to that database. -
According to the sa-cd.net database, new SACD titles released thru the first 10 months of the respective years....2009....461
2010....532
Looks like 600 new SACD titles in 2010 is a distinctive possibility. 7,000th SACD titles is on track to come during June, 2011.
