I originally hooked it up with a AR pro series IC and i was like, damm this amp is bright!! turned the treble to -1 and was good..

so i made room in the audio rack and re-installed my new monster 600 ic's that i have on all channels of the other amp and wow.. i needed to change the treble back to flat 0 and so i learned today that IC's are different.. I knew they were but never really realized with my other gear or ic's until today.. I need to take a pic of the tower of power as i deemed it to my wife.. LOL it looks impressive i gotta say..

Rented a couple dvd's and gonna demo it shortly..

I'm thinking of adding a rb1080 or just getting the rb1090 for my mains. I'm also looking at the new rmb1077 all digital amp. I'd like to get into the new technology but not if it's not going to perform as well. I'm going testing soon.

Good luck with the rb1080. I love that amp. It sounds fantastic.

I recently got the RB-1092 ICEpowered amp (500 w/ch). I ma blown away by Rotel's (B&O technology) digital amp. Size & wt were an issue for me so I chose the RB-1092 over the RB-1090.

The RB-1080 has issues with blowing fuses. If this happens send it to Rotel and they will upgrade the fuses and caps and other items.
