Fancy, but initially a little too messy for my eye. The gloss wood, leather, plastic, woofer, gold logo, and speakerstand contrast eachother quite a lot...maybe too much.

Absolutely gorgeous. The floorstanders do look much better, though. With the monitors, the plates the drivers are mounted on look too blocky; messes the aethetics a bit. Also not fond of that metal guard in front of the tweeter.

I'm a big fan of the alloy front baffle with wood veneer sides look - the Thiel CS 7.2's look awesome too.

I've always enjoyed the looks, and sound, of Sonus Faber. The stands you posted look a little better in person, but I'm still not crazy about them.

Personally, I like the Concertino Domus, on the factory stands.

    Maybe some day...

I am afraid these are way out of my league. I haven't had a chance to audition either, but judging by what other says, SF Homage series is a notch or two above the Classic, which I own the Cremona. I really dig the gloss and design. The Anniversario is a piece of art.

Am I the only one around that thinks that speakers "look" better with grills/socks on?

I do like to take them off when I listen, but I find it kind of like lifting the hood of a car..................interesting on a technical level, but it ruins the finished lines.

Relative to a Polk LSi15 on the scale? I still own the 15, and the difference between the two is in the overall presentation of music. Cremona makes me paying attention to the music's emotion, its musical presentation, and the vocal quality of the singers. The speaker is very balanced (to my ear), a tad warm, but the soundstage is wonderful (toed in). I would give the LSi15 a 6, and Cremona an 8 out of 10.

I got the pics from a Sonus Faber owners' club site, if I have to guess, I think the pics came from SF factory/shop floor, judging by a Stradivari standing next to it, and gobs of packing foam sheets..
