Charlie passed last night, around 3am.

I'm glad the whole hospice thing never even had to be discussed, I just can't believe this has happened, it was just a few days ago I was talking to the man, and now he's gone?

    Russ
Knowing you, it is obvious that Charlie lived his life right or your association with him and his family would have never taken place. Considering that, he has transcended to a far better place and is keeping any eye on you and the rest of us. My prayers have been placed for you and the rest of the family so that your grieving will be minimal.

    Your friend
    Henry

It was humble of you to bring him that radio. Condolences to you and yours.

One of my uncles whom I enjoyed passing the time with died last year. Something that keeps me going is thinking back to my oldest memory with him and of doing something cool with him. Standing at just beneath his belt, I remember reaching for his camera strap which he was dangling just out of my reach behind him while the family was trying to get a group photo of close to 20 people. I often think of the night I had my first beers in life with him at a boat club learning to play snooker. Write down what you remember.

    How are you doing?

Russ brought more than just a radio, he brought himself. It is so very important to spend some time with family and friends because you never know when you or they will leave this world.

My dad is 90 years old and I don't know how much longer he'll be around. I've made a decision to dedicate some quality time with him at least once a week plus make regular visits. For the past month I've been taking him out every Wednesday morning. We've visited local parks and lakes and last week I took him to the Biodome and visited the top of the tower at the Olympic stadium here in Montreal.

Hey guys and gals, FIND THE TIME and spend some time with your parents if they're still around. Don't wait till its too late.

    Joe
