There's a thread about this from a couple years ago. I didn't get it then and I still don't get it. It's part of the X-Treme, No Fear generation I'm afraid :rolleyes:2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables. it's a common typo that just became the norm....part of gaming and trying to type owned as fast as you could so you wouldn't get your head shot off while typing i guess.

It's sort of like "teh" instead of "the".
Part of the l33t culture, I reckon.
And if you don't know what l33t is, well...

(BTW, I am an old guy myself... but I've been around computers since ca. 1978 and, well, I have two teen/twenty-ish children.) -

BTW, it strikes me as odd that anyone could use an on-line forum & not know what PWNED (OWNED) means. See link below...

I guess I'm not as smart and witty as you but I "REALLY DO" appreaciate your help and forgiveness.***WAREMTAE*** -
probably more so... I really am not usually a jerk :-)

I always thought "PWNED" meant "Punked".
In any event, I'd have to believe that Landis now falls into the category of
"Royally FUJKED".
...for those less cool than me, that means he's in a world of doo-doo.
B sample shows evidence of SYNTHETIC doping (as did the A sample).
No explaining that with "My body produces higher than normal levels of testosterone".
What a shame.Sal Palooza -

OK....I can accept that. I never heard that explanation2 channel - Willsenton R8 tube integrated, Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE DAC, audio optimized NUC7i5, Windows 10 Pro/JRiver MC29/Fidelizer Plus 8.7 w/LPS and external SSD drive, PS Audio PerfectWave P3 regenerator, KEF R3 speakers, Rythmik F12SE subwoofer, Audioquest Diamond USB cable, Gabriel Gold IC's, Morrow Audio SP5 speaker cables. one word... detox

The whole "my body produces extra testosterone" thing is crap. He didn't fail for synthetic drugs at any point before that leg of the race.
I'd rather he didn't take the stuff and finished in the top 25 or whatever he would have. What a schmuck. Send him into exile with Bonds. At least be a man and say you were wrong and stop trying to make up stories for why you weren't good enough to win by yourself.Brian Knauss

Well this Landis issue is going to drag on for many months, perhaps just like T Hamilton.
I can think of only three things that could have happened here to Landis.
1. He took the juice. The most likely IMO.
2. Some one gave him the juice with out him knowing. Highly doubltful.
3. Some one contaminated his urine samples. Highly unlikely.
Any one got another story for landis?
Some other interesting facts of this Tour from Greg Lamond that indicated the Tour was pretty much drug free.
1. The race was slow when you compared the wattage output of riders in past Tours.
2. Landis's big day was not that fast compared to the wattage output. What happened that day is that the other teams didn't counter attack and let him ride away.
3. No one dominated the Tour. Every one had bad days, which is human.
Questions that no one has answered. Any data from anyone?
1. Can testosterane act that fast? Less than 20 hours?
2. Can testosterane leave the body that fast? I assume he passed the drug test during the TT 2 days later.
3. What was his testosterane level? And what is normal?
4. Is Landis that stupid to take a drug so easy to detect? -

Now he's saying that the night before, he was riding his bike and slipped and racked himself really hard, which, in turn, released extra testosterone.

Sami, thanks for that data, excellent details. Some one could put it in his amssage cream and he would nebver know it.
PolkThug, where did you hear about his crash? Was it biking and drinking? -

Yep, he was sippin' whiskey from the flask while biking, then his bad hip gave out, and the giggleberries were crushed.
