The level of sophistication of the bomb materials that were going to be used in the latest plot tells us that we're not dealing with a bunch of goatherders.
The only people who aren't aware of the tools and tactics being used are the American people.

Of course were not, the majority of the terrorist were educated in some of our finer institutions of higher edumucation.

As I said, Christian church... There's a difference from the kool-aid drinkers that based everything on the OT and they are not sanctioned and the Christian Churches. Nice try...

Still waiting on the quote... You wanted proof that most terrorists were muslim. Quid pro quo

Yet somehow you were not able to post a quote from the Bible stating that all non-believers shall be killed.

The Muslims have one book in the Koran. It's expicitly stated there. I think the question I would ask when it comes to violence in the name of religion is this: Is a person committing atrocities despite what their Holy Book says or because of what their Holy Book says?

Anyone can claim to be a Christian. I simply have to open up the Bible and compare them to what God says a Christian should be acting like. I can use the Bible as the standard to judge their actions.

Can the same be said for the Koran?

Show me the Christians that have done this in the middle of Tehran:

    9-11-pic1.jpg

I didn't know Christianity was at war with Islam. I do know Islam is at war with us. Why you're talking about the Bible is confusing. I suppose it's because you can't defend the actions of Islam?

Other than the atrocities that occurred in Bosnia, I believe that the last time that any "REAL"(substantial) Christian(Catholic) on Muslim violence occurred during the Crusades, which depending on which side you stand on, was pretty much a mutual thing. I might be off a little, but I'm not too far off.

Sorry dude, I don't have a bible at work, and I'm blocked from religious sites. I posted what chapters I thought it was.

Now you are changing your wording from "advocate killing of non-believers" to "all non-believers shall be killed". I answered your original wording.

Was that really the reason they were killed in the OT? Because they didn't believe? Or was it something else... Good trigger word - Mythology...

I believe they were killed for the same reason(s) that God took out Sodom.

There is a huge difference in the whole attitude of the Old and New Testaments, BTW.
In the Old, God is portrayed as a vengeful and jealous Entity and in the New, God is portrayed as a loving and forgiving Entity. That's(the contradictions) one of the main reasons that I don't take every word as the truth from the Bible. After thousands of years of being translated over and over, things tend to get distorted, especially by man. It's also one of the main reasons I have issues with organized religion and the corruption it breeds.. I'll have my one on one relationship with God and I really don't believe he/she minds.

Umm, a Christian is a Christian. Are there non-NT Christians? The NT defines what Christianity is... That kind of like asking are you and OT Jew or a Koran following Muslim...

But I'm pretty sure somewhere in my many years of Catholic school and many, many masses that there might have been something mentioned just once or twice about not judging others? I could be wrong. :D
