The only place I've ever seen racks like that is in the back ROOMS of multi-100k HT systems with extensive wiring and circuit breakers, etc.
So all of that in ONE basement is damn impressive.
Of course with those SDAs so close to each other doesn't the interfere with the 'effect'?

No I don't have to turn it all on, it depends on what I want to hear. There is a 2-channel system in there as well as a full surround system.
It doesn't look like the picture from 3 years ago. It looks more like this:

For what? Having a really nice setup? Having too many speakers along one wall? Having really clean built-in's for all your gear and media? If so, thenI know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius.

John, yes I have tips and tricks for you. First of all, you must absolutely and without fail replace a protection circuit that gets hot and goes bad. I have the Bose service bulletin for that. If that thing lets go, it will destroy your speakers....I know, it happened to me.
Keep in mind that you will have to use 1/4 jack to rca adapters for the interconnects, or do like I did and replace the jacks with rca connectors.
The binding posts most likely won`t be to your liking...change them, and be prepared to replace the power cord with a new one.
