I needed a plate amp to complete my DIYS subwoofer project so I bought a pair of RT3000P Sub amps on eBay, only needed one. I mounted a 12" NHT speaker in a Parasound cabinet and tried to hook up the speaker directly to the amp. Not good but no harm. I found the wiring diagram on this forum, many thanks, and discovered I need the volume control that plugs into the board so I don't over drive the NHT again. Does anyone know where I can get a couple of these precious volume controls? I am very impressed with the way these amps are made, heavy too. I just joined this forum and am thankful for the information posted.

Check with customer service, they may have a couple left.
The volume control is normaly located on the front of the speaker in the Polk logo.
Good luck and welcome to the forum.

What a godsend this forum is. Bvette94 the volume controls worked perfectly and now I can finally enjoy this great amp. Had it not been for you and the wiring diagrams I would have been lost and probably burned up more components. BTW the Eric at Polk scavenged a couple of pots for the system as well. Thanks Eric. I now have spares I would be happy to share with someone in need. Thanks to all!!
