Meanwhile, a wrinkle in time brought back a rather sorry looking Subaru from ca. 1972

Speaking of 1972, how's this for a flashback to good times....?

I, unfortunately, discovered that essentially every Billboard ever published is available from WRH.
Pick your favorite week and year, and peruse all of the charts (not just the top 100 pop)!

Cool link, Mark. I slapped that link onto One Note for safekeeping and future reference! I love older songs (some of them) but can never remember the titles or artists/bands to look them up.

Oh. I almost forgot.
German (at least, ich glaube -- umm, I mean, I presume that he's German!) photographer/hifi buff Holger Barske just posted a tranche of photos of "ETF '22" (the European Triode Festival) on Flikr.
I know the tubes 'n' horns crowd is a rather small clan around these parts... but y'all might still enjoy leafing through these.

ahem... where was I?
Oh.
Yes.
Billboard.
I just quasi-randomly selected a week and a year from the pop/rock era and looked at the Hot 100 chart for the week of May 27 20, 1967. (does anybody really know what time it is?)

Top of the charts:
Bottom of the charts:
The top (pop) LPs?
(just a snippet of the full-page chart)
Maybe you're more interested in... the hot country singles?
R&B?
You name it!
Anyway... you get the idea.
So much fun for a long, cold, dark, winter!!!

Pertaining to the 70s charts, it boggles my mind that my brain has almost all those songs " Musical sounds and voices as they were" in memory. Amazing brains we have!
Well half of the US anyway. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

I got 10 emails the other day that I was going to get a CD that I have patiently waited for foe 2 or 3 months. All of the emails stated that I would get the CD by 9 that day.
I still haven't rec'd it and when I go to log into UPS, it shows that it has been sent and is on the way.
The brown apes probably lost it.

I have posted this on this thread before but here it is again. I think it's pretty cool. Might have it printed out and framed for the stereo room...
