I noticed that after a 10 day stint in the hospital years ago. Congrats to you guys and someday I'll do the same I hope. It's a stranglehold addiction for sure.

Agree, first 48hrs ROUGH, first 2 weeks not fun, after that I was good to go.
Have have to retrain your brain to deal with the "boredom cigarette" time. For me, this was the hardest. I didn't realize how much I smoked out of boredom. Be patient, you will develop new ways of coping; going for a short walk helped me.
How bout your sense of smell returning? Do odors smell more intense now?
Oh yeah, that comes on pretty quick--like day 3. We only smoked in Bev's truck once, and it was disgusting. We had to give it a big cleaning. Thankfully, we've never smoked in the house. I just smoke in the garage. Never indoors or in the cars

I am cooking all of this and my picky daughter in law want's to bring a ham cause she doesn't like any of it except turkey but she doesn't like it smoked. Funny thing is I pretty much hate ham but I will eat it. I am not picky about holiday fare except yams, yams are the food of the Devil. -

You are absolutely welcome to join us, you can have her portion! As a matter of fact anytime you can make it to Arizona I will prepare the same meal for you. I can cook pretty good, at least the last time that I tried. BTW no lockdown here! Furthermore I can make you some of those Satanic candied yams (I can cook those too) but you have to eat them on the porch or the bathroom, I can't bare to watch.Post edited by afterburnt on -

Is the guys name Karen? The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

As seen Elsewhere -- enabling those quick, on the fly crossover tuneups.
(although I think if I were goin' to all that trouble, I'd have invested in better capacitors)
PS Check out that high-end Pyle amplifier, too!

Well, that's a tough act to follow -- this might do it.
NSFW, but probably only on the Day of the Dead.

Kunekune, interesting name.afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

I'll admit I had to look up "kunekune".
It seems that it's a type of big, fat, hairy pig found in New Zealland as pictured in Bruce's post.
Yet.....in Japanese it means "wiggle wiggle"
Why ? It's a sordid tale that they're trying to keep hush hush.

Another 80+ degree day! Normally we're in the high 60's at this point---not that I'm complaining...

I was at my local Home Depot this morning and in the adjacent parking spaces when I returned to my car, I saw a Porsche Boxster, a Maserati Sedan, and a Toyota FJ Cruiser.
Of the three cars, the Toyota FJ Cruiser was the most interesting. The FJ Cruiser had a missile on top.
