This is one lady who goes above and beyond shopping for the occasion at Home Depot!...Although the forklift did accidentally run her over a couple of minutes later.

Worked tech support for a .org at a trade show in the Wynn almost this time last year. Constant complaints from said .org about the cost of the Wynn to host the show.
Many of you may know, and I was surprised to hear, that the convention business is much larger in Vegas now (and for some time) than gaming. Confirmed this with several sources. Wynn is now building a second, and larger, convention facility. (Not Steve Wynn, as he was ousted from the property by his ex -- longer story.)

I like architecture and those Wynn High risers are just plain BEAUTIFUL to me. I applaud the Designer or Design Co. .

It looks like somebody said, "let's reverse all the blueprints and build another one", ok?. :pB)

I can see the third one is designed like the other two. It looks like the shape on the left.

They remind me of things (furniture and tables, and cars too) that are black with a chrome strip applied somewhere to enhance and contrast.

I used to travel a lot and I'd marvel at all the cool high risers that I saw.

Between cities, I'd look at billboards, power lines and trees for HAWKS and FALCONS. There are many hawks and falcons now since they banned DDT. There are even hawks in cities living off of squirrels and rodents. Peregrine Falcons in the BIG cities living off of pigeons too.

I just saw an article that they're (Hawks) so prevalent, there has been an alert given out somewhere to be careful about outdoor pets under 10 lbs.. :#
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

That's a direct result of the banning of DDT. Took a while for the benefits to work their way through the ecosystem, but changing habitat & time have brought the raptors back with a vengeance. [EDIT: oops, that was already mentioned! Sorry! :p ]

Dozens of eagles along the Connecticut River near us nowadays.
