Of course, I love the original too. Was so ahead of its time.

Joe it looked even better in person! Pictures don't do it justice.

Very true, there is one in the showroom and I look at it every time I bring my rdx in for service. They have a computer display next to it so you can customize it. Plus it has some samples of carbon fiber to look at too. If I remember I'll snap some pics next time I'm there.

Remember that Goat-Victrola thing from CL posted a while back?

This is better, and worse, at the same time, I think.

Yes it's a sculpture of a fanciful avian... with an Altec 1803B multicell horn and a 288 driver stuffed up its... umm... cloaca. :/

    HAHAHAHHAAHAHA
I literally just spit my drink all over my desk!
It is, however, a waste of a perfectly good Altec horn, which is, quite frankly, frustrating to me, for some reason.

    ^Good for you!

I need a mini-vacation like that soon. Works got me stressed out quite a bit, and its taking a toll.

I could use a recharge outdoors......

I really like my wine, I really, really like my system but to me there is no better high than breathing in fresh air, the smell of it is almost euphoric. After a great day of biking I'm having some wine and listening to Dave Brubeck with grills off. Kids are sailing with grandparents.

This is an aerial view of Eric Clapton's home in Dublin Oh. Dublin is a couple miles up the road from me. Clapton's current wife is from Columbus.

No wonder he plays the blues so much, having to live in a hovel like that.

Must be Urban Meyer’s neighbor. Also in Dublin Ohio.

I wasn't exactly Urban Meyer's neighbor, but we lived about a half mile from him in Gainesville when he coached at UF. Our builder lived right across the street from him.
  • So you’re used to seeing crazy fans hiding in the bushes?
