While rolling from Jetty Park in Port Canaveral to Sebastian inlet looking for any Cocaine that the recent storms may have pushed ashore, we were fortunate enough to witness a rare day light logger head sea turtle nest hatching . Very cool to witness. No seagulls around to pick them off. Every one of the 25 or so made it to the water.

Then we got to watch a SpaceX Falcon 9 launch and land at the Cape. The sat dish is Patrick Space Force Base.

Beautiful Pictures, super jealous..
Thanks. I love the camera on this Pixel 7 Pro phone. Maybe some day I'll get a real camera.
But to be honest, no need to be jealous. I can't wait to get out of here. I absolutely despise and hate the weather here. I'm always wet. The humidity is repulsive. I'm looking to move back to the Mojave Desert early next year (again) probably Yuma. -

Yikes! A little too close to home ... my daughter starts her PhD studies on Monday! Not in English Literature, at least (Biomedical Sciences).

Hey, I have an obscure arts degree and I take objection to this meme. I had a very successful career. In I.T.

Good for her! I'm a fan (of biomedical sciences, that is -- and PhDs).

Appreciate that! It's all out of my wheelhouse since I was in business, so I'm somewhat nervous for her. Just as soon she would start making some $$$ vs. pursuing more schooling. Doesn't help that she'll be in Chicago, but she did find an apartment in what seems to be a pretty decent neighborhood. Time will tell, I guess!
