    Sorry to hear the troubles but start now to protect yourself Change PIN numbers and passwords. Don't comingle your money with his. Hide all statements and account numbers. Hide some money. It ain't over til it's over. In the future, I wouldn't recommend co-mortgage, seen too many nightmares/credit ruined.

    Hey, I know F1nut is looking for an audio-crazed female roomie.

    The only downside is that he probably uses more hair care products than you do. Primp time in the john could be an issue. Other than that, he's incredibly tidy and for the most part, housebroken.

    You know which way the wind is blowing & you make sure you take care of business, so that when the time comes you can leave free & clear with as few worries as possible!

    Just make sure he doesn't get wind of it so that if/when it happens he'll be standing there wondering what the hell just happened.

    Suggest that you BOTH attend counseling together. If he's willing great it shows that he really wants to work on the relationship. If he hems & haws then you know he's just using you because you're convenient. Then you can plan accordingly.

    Darla - good luck. For the most part the male of the species is pretty much coniving scum, however there are a few good ones :D If you can find a good counselor that won't take sides, they can help the diametrically opposed female and male brains actually communicate. It's amazing when it first happens!

    I have it say it LOOKS as though he is actally making an honest effort to communicate here. We will see how long it lasts. I guess he figured out I was serious. He is one of those types of people that you kind of have to be tough with. I hate that. It's kinda like game playing and I really just want to live my life...Hmmm. Let me see what my stocks are doing today:p

    Well, if you need to put a lot of effort in it.... If you need to fight through and keep your senses at max to maintain things afloat....you'll get tired of it sooner or later. Maybe he's just not the right guy. Sometimes it is better to make that difficult decision, but make it on time.

    Darla, don't really know you but I know your pain and there is nothing any of us can say to make you feel any better. I went through a similar thing not too long ago. It will get better. Def. keep your gear. My music and my gear has gotten me through all the crap. The bad times can wake you up to the good stuff you were not paying attention to...**smile**

    Thanks George, it is just inevitable that we are going to sell. It's just a matter of logistics. We had another talk again this morning and I have to admit...I really just want to be free from this situation.
