Couple of glasses of Ardbeg sitting around the campfire last night. Fresh caught trout for dinner. Life doesn't get much better. :)

    **** yes!

I read an article on the net about the Rollings Stones of the UK (forget the magazine name) and they rated Jesus Christ Pose (Badmotorfinger song, for those who don't know) the best alternative/rock song of the 90s. I couldn't agree more. I also love the extension of Cornell's voice on Slaves and Bulldozers. Talk about sending chills down your spine!

Oh, and Scott, where in AZ are you from? My parents are moving out there shortly to Prescott Valley and I'd like to eventually move out there as well.

Switching back and forth between Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA and some homebrew British Bitter. Going to enjoy my last free weekend before my part of our new work project kicks in, during which I'll be working 6 days a week at 12 hours/day, but only compensated for 40 hours...Gotta love being salaried. It's a good thing I absolutely love my new job.

It has been really cool today, hasn't it? It feels great outside right now...as a matter of fact, I think I'll head out to my balcony for a few beers.

On my way out to buy a bottle of gin and some tortilla chips (hey, Ive got a system). Been sitting here watching the Vols beat the crap out of California!! Im SO stoked football is back!!! Woohoo!

But now its time to get serious. Ive got my music selection sorted out and ready to go, now its time to do some Labor Day drankin'!!

A few of the CD's Ill be enjoying under the influence tonight:

Start off with Alice In Chains - Facelift. Good and aggressive and gets me fired up.

Then some Skid Row - Slave to the Grind.

Then start slowing down with Def Leppard - Pyromania
    Some Damn Yankees 1st CD

Then really slow down with Alice in Chains - Dirt
And then probably pass out to Type O Negative - World Coming Down.

    Cheers!!!

I'm currently having a Redhook IPA, with a Samuel Smith IPA to follow. Finished my Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA just a few minutes ago...so far it's a good night.

Sam Adams - Octoberfest. A nice deep amber but kind of sweet. Described as "A malt lover's dream. Malty with notes of caramel and toffee". Can only drink about 3 or 4. Having a nice serving of tubes on the side...
