Just opened a Bell's Amber. A buddy and I just got done riding 8 miles of singletrack and are about to throw some New York Strips on the grill and have some beers.

I am on a very tiny scale. My friend and I are planning on bottling a British Bitter later on tonight. It's been in secondary for about seven weeks. We haven't found the time yet to bottle it, so it's been sitting. Hopefully it will be tasty!

Tiny meaning you don't do it often, or tiny meaning you do small batches? Or both?

as in I don't do it too often. This will be my second batch in about six months. I made a porter the last time that was pretty good. It's just hard to find the time to brew. I brew 5 gal. batches.

Same here. Although I think I'm going to invest in a kegging system. Seems to save a lot of time and allows much more flexibility.

    Hope the bottling goes well!

Went across the street last night and polished off 4 Hook ESBs and two cigars. It was a cool 72 out with a nice ocean breeze, the sun was setting and all the plam trees were rustling in the wind, it was near a perfect evening.

Having a BD get together for my bro this afternoon at my parents and I'm sure we'll be drinking some Chardonnay from a small limited release California winery (can't remember the name now). My Mom has been digging all brands of Mexican beer lately since they got back from a trip to Mexico.

So, since it's going to be about 95 degree's with a heat advisory here today in the upper Midwest. We'll be chillin' the mugs and cutting the limes and enjoying a slice of ice cold Mexico and Cali wine.
