although this is a moot point.. the Superbowl should have been played some place a little more neutral IMHO. LA or Miami for starters. the refs.. don't EVEN get me started.

    Great prediction! (smacks StopherJJ1980) ;););)

I thought there were a bunch of questionable calls as well, the Seahawks dominated the first half and the Steelers bounced back in the second. This referee debate is going to go on for a looooong time.

I'm glad I'm a Formula 1 fan -- not a lot of people to argue with around here. LOL!

A little more neutral? WTF, were the Lions in it?

Exactly. There's no way to predict who's going to be in teh Superbowl, and trying to find someplace geographically neutral is just absurd. It would have to be Hawaii, or Europe.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I wouldn't say the location was the problem so much as the ticket distribution. There's no way to control who will be there, but a good chunk of the seats are off the table just to the corporate sponsors....I forgot how many Nike gets right off the bat, but it's a lot.

You're right though, 300 miles is a hell of a big difference between 2500 miles for local fans to travel. It's just the luck of the draw.

"I told Coach, 'I don't think I got in,'" Roethlisberger told Letterman. "But we were getting ready to go for it on fourth down anyway, and I would have run it again. So we would have found a way to get in."

The play infuriated Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren and has provided Seattle fans plenty of fodder for their fury over the game's questionable calls.

Referee Bill Leavy upheld the call after a replay review, and Holmgren then upbraided Leavy on his way off the field at halftime.

The NFL said the referees didn't make any mistakes during the game, so everyone can shut up about it now. :)

That's a relief...I was afraid they were going to say their guys blew some of the calls.
