Got some hot sports opinions on XL? Lay them out here.

I like BOTH teams. I really hope to see Pittsburg pull it out. Will they? This game boils down to Pitt's ability to harass Hasselbeck into bad throws, and to nullify Alexander. My take is they'll be able to do neither. I do think it will be down to the last 2 minutes, and an entertaining game to watch.

Seattle 20, Pittsburg 17

I am with you RuSs, I don't think Pitt is going to be able to stop Alexander, which will open up the passing game. However, this is only if Seattle can somehow take Troy Palomano out of "his" game.

    My prediction is:

    Seattle 34, Pittsburgh 27

    Agreed.

As for all the media out there saying that Seattle does not deserve to be in the SB, that they're not worthy, I have yet to hear a convincing, truly convincing reasonable argument as to why. Sure their division was weak, and they played a banged up Carolina, but the fact is, they beat Washington, they dominated Carolina (sorry Siddy), and they won 13 games during the regular season, while weathering their own injuries, against professional quality teams. Too much is being made of the noise at Qwest field too. It helps, but all stadiums are loud. Deal with it.

It will be a very good SB. I pray the Seahawks win, if for nothing else so that the East Coast biased media can get on their collective knees and suck it.

looks like polamalu "tweaked" his ankle...
i wonder how much this will effect the pass rush, as this seems to be the major focus for both teams
    still...

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Wow, a surprising group of Seattle votes here, considering the national conensus seems to be about 60/40 for Pitt.

I'm hoping for Seattle to win (mostly because I have a thing against Pittsburgh fans on the whole, and I'm sick, oh so sick, of Jerome Bettis), but I don't know if they can do it. Wish I had a prediction, but I'm still on the fence.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Feels like GB-Denver with Pitt being GB. I like the Hawks-34-27

I don't like either team. It's better to see the commercials the next day on the internet. NO WAY I'm watching the Stones at halftime....(instead of a wardrobe malfunction we have a better chance of seeing a couple strokes and/or a heart attack). They're practically having to make up stuff to create "controversy" so they have something to talk about.

Well....if the game gets boring (as they usually do) or I decide I really don't care anymore (good chance), at least the original "Gone In 60 Seconds" is showing on the Speed Channel...if not for that it would be reruns of "Beauty and the Geek".

I'd like to see either team win this, but I still stand with Seattle.

Sid, you should root for the 'hawks. Then at least you could say that the Panthers were finally and only beaten by the Superbowl Champs. Thats how I always pick the team I root for once my Seattle team is out of it.

Two very good teams. I'm from Pittsburgh so you know my favorite. Same old cliches: the team that can avoid mistakes will win. No blowout here, it could go either way. Steelers 28-17.

I predict I will get drunk, eat too much, not watch a lot of the game, and won't know who won in the morning.

Old school Cowboy fan, CAN NOT be for Pittsburgh (even if the the head coach is an ex-cowboy coach) I could not tell you a single player on the Seattle, but that is who I have to choose from. Does that mean I have to do that reverse hands on the head wing thing, eff it I will even if that isn't the Seahawks thing.

    Sea 17
    Pitts 13

In a totally boring game, maybe a **** will pop out and save the day.

**** I got a head start on the pre game tonight.

I predict that RuSs will get drunk. how do you like them odds? :D

OK, tell me how much this bites the big one. I'm on call this weekend. AND we're not allowed to drink alcohol, at all.

Follow up question. Why do people riot when their team wins? I can understand cheering and yelling and letting loose, but riots? Turning over cars, starting fires, seems like the wrong way to celebrate to me.

Get this, there is some huge assed storm headed Seattle's way. Looks like there is a good chance the better part of the region might lose power and not be able to watch the game. Holy **** that would suck.
