You need to be MORE specific.

I think you meant 5.1 or at least I hope you did because there are no 6.1 SACD's. DVD-A's or DipDisc's. The best cables are the ones that sound good to you and fit your budget, which is how much?

Only if one wants to do a 5.1 set up. Otherwise only two are required for stereo SACD, which is much better anyway.

There is NO SINGLE BEST analog interconnect for any given application. Interconnects are a matter of preference, how they sound to any given individual, how much they cost, etc...etc...etc... Some will have an opinion that the cheapest patch-cord that comes packed in a entry levels Sony CDP is fine while others will spend hundreds of dollars and swear they are worth every penny. Ask 40 people and you will probably get 38 different answers (some might actually agree). Try some...then try some different ones...until you are satisfied with the sound....then make up your own mind.

you dont need to buy specific SACD cables, you just need RCA audio interconnects for 5.1 SACD. like everyone else has said, there is no "best" cable out there. Blue Jeans Cable and Signal Cable make some very affordable but quality cables. Audioquest, Transparent, MIT and Kimber are some of the high end manufacturers that come to mind if you want to spend a little more.

    I found this at Amazon...

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00022WNVU/sr=1-1/qid=1138638942/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-1165859-3563228?%5Fencoding=UTF8

At $99, they seem really expensive compared to the earlier post

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=4117887&type=product&productCategoryId=cat08053&id=1051384698663

I would go with Best Buy

Alternately, you could try Radio Shack - they seem to have good cables. Anyone's tried the Radio Shack brand of cables?

I agree with Skynut on the Raymond Cables. very well made high end cables. sound is really good too. You can find them listed on Ebay usually.

If you need the phone number to Raymond Cable, let me know.

Also, these Cobalt Cables are a good investment, but more money. Another very good sounding and well made multi channel cable.

yeah i need to pick up 2 interconnects myself for 2ch. SACD.. good ones this time.

btw- to get the true "hi-rez" fidelity can i hook it up to the receivers CD input (receivers bass management) or do I still hook it up to the "Multi-Channel Out" L&R?
I've noticed when I hook it up on the regular aux. on the receiver you can degrade the signal by selecting DPL IIx and all that non-sense- yet it still plays the SACD layer.

better bass management or a purer signal? hmm....
