Last night my oldest daughter and her friend from across the street, had a couple of guy`s with a machine gun and a machete, hold them at gunpoint and take thier purses and car...

She okay, just a little shakin` up..

She said the guy stuck a machine type gun (oozie) in her ribs, and took her purse and belongings, and the keys to the tahoe, while they other guy held a machete to her friend..

Needless to say the both handled themselves well, and are fine...

You might want to edit that post, so if you DO find them (whcih I hope you do) you can't be implicated in any accidents that may befall them.

Wow! That's certainly not something you want to go through every day! A machine gun...that creates an interesting dynamic...and you couldn't attempt to take it away from him, 'cause the other guy has your friend at the end of a machette. I guess you'd have to give them whatever they wanted. It's a blessing neither of them were hurt.

Did the punks seem to be sober, or do you suspect they were on something? Whoever finds them, whatever you end up doing with 'em...I hope it turns out ok.

Hope she feels better today, Bear. That's some scary ****, I wonder if those boys are part of the home invasion thugs who have been causing some headlines lately. You are in Marin county area, if I recall, right?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Beardog - I'm glad they are OK, thank god for that! Get the locks changed and keep a spare mag loaded. Make sure no blood is found on the other side of the door threshold. And remember, I have 4000 acres of farm ground where you can bury the bodies  Fresh ground is getting a little tight, but we still have some left :)

A big relief to hear the second part where they weren't harmed. Count your blessings Bear. Life can change so much in the blink of an eye. A hug, a kiss, and a "Don't ever forget I love you" every time they walk out of the house man.

I'm glad your daughter and her friend are o.k. When you find the thugs who did this, offer to send them on an all expenses paid trip to Louisiana. This would be expecially attractive now, since Mardi Gras season is right around the corner. We have a wide variety of very desirable vehicles down here and I'm certain we can accommodate them.

Carjacking used to be a popular sport in Louisiana before a "Kill the Carjacker" law was enacted.

Things can be replaced; your daughter and her friend's health can't. I am glad they're ok. There are rising incidents of carjacking in Southern CA too. These crackheads and methheads are out to rob for a quick fix. The newspaper reported that they even carjacked a woman during lunch time in a Costco parking lot 2 months ago.

just got done changing the locks...

just in time too...seems a white van has been fishing lately...
Not sure if it`s a coincidence or not, but one more pass and he gets stopped !

There is only one way in and one way out of my street...those that don`t belong are easy to spot..
One call and the fellas down the street box him in.

The punks have my daughters ID, so they have my addy....good for me, bad for them..!!

They used the gas card twice in Berkeley...about 15-20 min from here..
The card Co. knows about it , so I am not liable for payment.

I have a good security system, but will be adding to it tomorrow....good excuse to buy more servalience type toys..!!
Wife wouldn`t let me justify some of it, but now...

The truck was totaled last night according to the cops....

all is well...thanks for all your support and concern..

These kinda punks really should stay on thier side of the tracks...

Well, not a whole lot of trees but plenty of rock. A little cooler than Cal. I left Vancouver and it was +8. Five hours later I arrived in Yellowknife and it was -42.

    thanks sis...

I know this type of sh^tstain also...
I have the feeling it aint over yet, but they will not want what I got for em if they decide to stop by...
They think they havethe keys to the doors, and they have an address of acouple scared girls...WRONG ON BOTH ACCOUNTS..

    I`m no victim...I`man ex Ranger..Airborne/Air Assualt...
and I have little patience for that whaanabe Jr. Ganster mentality...

My Girl is doing well...she took care of business this morning with the cards and all..
I`m impressed with the way she is handling herself..
She has decided to stay at a girlfriends house tonight....

The part that kind of torked me, was the way the cops handled it..as if they assumed the girls knew the assailants or something, and it wasn`t taken very seriously by the cops..

My daughter described what tome was a Tek 9, a sawed off shotgun, and a machette..

my daughter had the Tek 9 stuck in her ribs...
the sawed-off was waived at her guy friend, and her girlfriend was held back with the machette..

When I asked her to describe the punks, she said "they were black and had BIG guns..
it was this long with two handles"..!
The tall one had a sawed-off shotgun, and the short one had a real big knife..
