    I received official word this afternoon....working with the seller. I'm not going to say it's a solid purchase, but we have been in touch. Thanks for the motivation guys.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Cool! I hope you get it. You know, any old preamp isn't THE preamp if that makes any sense. A few months from now you'll forget how much it costs and will be left with only the sound. At least that has been my experience. Besides, you can always re-sell if something else catches your fancy. Isn't there a soup kitchen right down the street... :D

    It's a hard thing when you stumble across a once-in-a-lifetime purchase like that. Shoot, if you've got the means, why not? It's a linestage, it'll last longer then any of us....
