It's not on Parasound's website yet, but here's the news....

http://hiddenwires.co.uk/resourcesnews2005/news20051031-10.html

As much as others keep saying hi-rez is dying (or dead), hardware manufacturers keep hopping onboard....NAD, HK....and now, Parasound.

High and low end players are still being made, bought and sold. Just cuz Wal Mart and such dont sell Hi Rez does not mean they wont be available. It seems not to many new High Rez discs are being made, I all ready have enough to sastify my meager needs and continue to add more.

Very nice, but the silver Denon DVD players (5910, 3910, 2910, 2900) match the cosmetics of the Halo gear very closely and have been available for a long time, so that's what I have and will stick with. From what I hear, the pricing on the D3 will be close to the 5910. Too much for me. It's great to see Parasound getting back into the source business once again though. I didn't know they were also building a D200 model for their New Classic line.
