    begbie and whatsupyouassyousay,

You are to report to Brunswick Ga. You are going to get a whoopin, no need hiding, just come and get it over.

I would of liked a little more T&A. You know like when Carrie Fisher was all chained up by Jabba and scantilly clad, that scene changed many boyhood views. Of course seeing her now is sort of frightning. Yea, like was posted it was cool seeing all the stories get tied in together so very well.

it's funny, I watched A New Hope a couple of nights ago and I noticed more little things about it~ now it makes sense more than ever. From that standpoint alone, the pre-trilogy was a success.

    5. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) $431,065,444
    7. Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) $380,262,555
    18. Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) $310,675,583

A new movie could center on the Wookies, their nation and planet opens an entire plethora of ideas, I mean, who doesn't like Chewie???

The Vader who could cheat mortality, hmmm, that could be developed, Obie1 came back why not Darth?????

    Well just some random thoughts.

There is sooooo much stuff that could be explored with new movies before the prequels and after Return of the Jedi, it's mind-boggling.

Yoda is like 900 years old. What went on in the 20 or so years between Sith ond New Hope??? Lucas created a universe of possibilities that could trigger numerous episodes, but I guess he's done with them..............for now ;) .

I wonder if he'd ever entertain the idea of letting other directors take a shot at doing more prequels or sequels, with his guidance of course???

Nah......his ego is too big to allow someone to outdo him.

Lucas would NEVER let anyone touch his movies.

I heard rumors fo rawhile about a prequel revolving around Yoda's early years. That would be my number one vote for a Star Wars side-movie.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

If they can be done well, I'm all for them making new movies from the Star Wars saga. It'll be disappointing if this just drives the series into the groud, which some will argue has already been done.

I personally enjoyed all the prequels, but I do wish he would have casted the roles better.

Anakin annoyed me, and I know he was supposed to be an overall unlikable character. That was done really well, unfortunately I was also very annoyed by him as well, like...Jar-Jar Binks annoyed! :p

Obi-Wan was also annoying. Seemed to be trying way too hard as an actor. I don't know, maybe they were just working with the dialogue they were given, but most of it was just dreadful.

I'm hesitant to even watch it for fear of it being a lousy movie. Jar jar Binks is cool and so far the movies leave a good taste in my mouth. If all the friendly characters get killed I might as well watch a slaughterhouse movie.

Pat, if you liked the other two prequels, you'll like this one.

The kid they cast for Annikan, just as Mark Hamill, couldn't act his way out of........

Now I like Ewan as Obi-Wan, as I do think it's the dialogue they had to work withthat might have made him look bad. They did have to lead into Sir Alec with him.

The dialogue is so bad, it makes Samuel Jackson look like a bad actor, which imo he's far from.

But, overall, it's the same tried and trued formula used in the other five, where as no one actor is bigger than the complete story being told and this one tied all the loose ends up as well as could be expected in a 2 1/2 hour movie.

I thought the movie was pretty damn good. It may even been the best of the 6 (although the old ones were the first of there kind, so....). I thought the sound was great. The bass on opening scene shook the whole room (need to upgrade the sub). The story was silly (but they all are), but the effects were fantastic. He also tied everything into episode IV very well (he even remember to erase C3POs memory).

Chop on it all you want, but I was thoroughly entertained, so I'll put it down as something to watch again soon.

yeah for me anyway Sith is the 3rd best of the lot, right behind A New Hope and especially Empire. If I could rank them it would go something like this:

    1.Empire (V)
    2.Hope (IV)
    3.Sith (III)
    4.Jedi (VI)
    5.Menace (I)
    6.Clones (II)

Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Episode V - Empire Strikes Back
    Episode IV - New Hope
Episode VI Return of the Jedi

That and there was too much on the forest moon. I watch Star Wars cause I like sci-fi stuff and would rather see spaceships and cool things rather than a forest!

I hated that on Star Trek TNG when they would have an entire episode in the holodeck set back in 1940!

The Expanded Universe has written many books on Kashyyyk and the wookies. All of those ideas posted have been done in book form....but not by Lucas.

Lucas doing star wars is not over...there will be a TV show coming out in 2007 that will document some of the events that happen between ROTS and ANH...but nothing will revolve around main movie characters.

There is also going to be a re-release of all 6 films in 3D starting in 07 as well.

If you want the time before the Pre-quels-see KOTOR the video game. If you want post-ROTJ...see the many, many books written by the expanded universe authors.

I don't pick on them at all. I'm just happy he decided to make more Star Wars movies.

Ep3 was excellent from a story point. It was very cool to see how Darth Vader became Darth Vader. Darth Sidious was killer. He did what he wanted all movie long.Got his way and that was that.

If you go back and watch the orignal movies, the acting wasn't any better. Qui Gon Jin made Ep1. I felt he was a true jedi master. He did a fantastic job.

I own them all and can pullout any one of them and enjoy the movie.

Episode "3" was better than "1" and "2". But, considering the fact Episode "1 and 2" were about as entertaining as watching paint dry... grass growing... leaves falling...among other activities... its not saying much...

Ep "3" walked into the territory of playing with bubble wrap. You only do it when your bored and the fun eventually runs out in minutes.

It still had merit... until this line... "NOOOOOOOOOOOO"

My Mom said it best... "I just didn't like it..." ;)
