These are the cables I bought in this thread.

Nordost flatline speaker cables. You win, I ship. It's that simple. FREE FREE FREE. Quality cables, well used but no damage or problems. They've just lost that "new" look. (damn glossy ribbon cables that loose their shine over time, blech!)

Conditions:
You must have 100 posts or more.
You must own polk speakers.
Reply here and say something that you LOVE about Polk Audio to enter.

I will also put an entry in for the cable swap program, so that there is a chance that these cables can go to the cable swap program.
Entries must be recieved by Thursday at NOON central time and the cables will ship this weekend.

Good luck.

Sorry my man but the cable swap program was closed. Sad but true.

What I love about polks is the memories they bring. I have had polks in my family for many years. Started with the Monitor 10b's. I still own many polk speakers around the house and now the rt12's,psw50, cs250-s. Listening to those speakers brings me back to a time when I was out shopping and wishing one day I could own polk speakers like my uncle. I loved going over his house and listening to his 2 channel polk system. The rt12's are not exactly the speaker I was after but the rt16's are there big brothers and it works almost the same.
Polk is a great company and I have stood by them for many years. I personally ventured out from polk in my main system for the quest to higher fidelity. But polk will always be in my soul.

Well I may not have 100 posts (yet) but tonight, after positioning the new
acoustical pads, I experienced my first Polk LSi nirvana!

Norah Jones was singing just for me and the details in the music made it seem
as if she were in my room! What a fantastic sound!

    I'm in.

What I like about Polk Audio is the guy that started the company is still steering the ship. Though they are a large company, their customer service is both professional and friendly which makes you feel relaxed and welcome. Their products sound great so I have a fantastic surround system and two channel rig with Polk speakers.

What I love....Complete value. Great sound for my audio system. I may want much higher end products but these R series have opened up the world of home theater and wonderful audio nirvana. Imagine a great home theater that will smoke HTIB for 500-600 box with the R series

Count the Mazman in as well!

What I love about Polk is what they did for me and how I started to view audio. I was working at CC in the computer department and decided one day I wanted to buy some speakers. I talked to my good buddy Bruce, who is extremely knowledgable with speakers, and he pointed me directly to the Polks. That night I went home with a pair of RT1000s and never looked back. A few weeks after my purchase I visited a good friend of mine with a Bose surround setup. I was shocked at the difference in quality of sound between the Bose and Polks; night and day. Since then Polk is the only commercial speaker I've owned. Quality speakers at amazing prices = Polk.

What I LOVE about Polkaudio? That's an easy one....THIS FORUM!!!

I mean, there are lots of speaker companies out there, and I am sure many are as close or better than Polk in terms of quality and value....but this forum for me made a big difference and has been the 80-20 reason for me to continue buying Polk... and I'll stop it here...maybe some other time I will spend more time on this topic...:)

What I love/like the "Polk" family atmosphere displayed on this Forum as well as at the corporate level.( I really love the fact that I own 2 sets of Polk speakers that are nearly 20 years old and don't feel as if i'm missing a thing sound wise.)

In with sentiments similar to Troys.

Also, I like the fact that they actually care a bit for the build quality at their pricepoint. I don't think there is another manufacturer that puts the time and effort neccessary for a speaker at the price point that matches polk.

The fact that they let the forum run rampant is also cool. It seems that about 20% of the membership owns no polks but they are always welcome and part of the family and that is sweet!

    In please sir, :)

I love polk!! when i find a company i like i tend to stick with them. I mean strictly, it may limit my options but i don't care. Ive even turned family members onto polk. CS is top notch, Build and looks are great! I can afford to have a great speaker system because of the price point/performance ratio with polk... I like the availability of parts even for old speakers, What speaker company does that? Polk fest's ! This forum, you guys! Karma's... Its all polk and all good! :) I plan to have polks for years and years to come.. I'm addicted to em

In, I sold all of my Polks this summer to pay off my credit card, except a Polk tweeter(hope that still qualifies me).

I love Polk because of its CS. I've sold several people on Polk just because of that fact. Also, the LSi's are sexy speakers.

In please...........Why do I love Polk Audio? Where should I start. For one, you can't get this grade of quality from any other company for the prices we pay. Also the company is not too large to "care" about our satisfaction. I had blown tweets once, and PACS was very prompt and helpful in replacing the tweets at no charge to me, and that right there alone will keep me on the Polk Audio starship for the rest of my life. Thanks for the karma, and thank you Polk for my great speakers. :D

Polk is what first brought me into Home Audio. I remember walking into an Americell (not around any more) and hearing a pair of RT600 - don't even know if Polk was in CC yet then. I remember listening to those and a Harman/Kardon AVR 25 MKII and just fell in love.

I bought both of those that day for like $1000 and haven't looked back since.

    good times...

Please please in. (they would be perfect to bi-wire my mains).

Love about Polk? Everything. I bought my towers and loved them so much, surrounded my self in Polk. Compare them to what ever else may be in the show room, and you will find the are by far the best sounding (at an excellent price). The support is outstanding. Had a problem with one of my tweeters, and they were willing to ship my a new one no questions asked (cured the problem myself, so I didn't end of needing it). The responded to my e-mails immediately (try that with dell or linksys, and you wonder how they stay in business). In my opinion, quality support (of a quality product) is the name of the game.

Plus this forum is probably the most useful tool there is for anyone interested in audio.
