First of all I must say, YOU PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND IMMATURE! Yes Polk makes some great speakers, but so do other companies. I was in serious debate between the Polk 800i and Klipsch RF3II. They both sounded great. So I join both forums to listen to see what people say about them and just to see what goes on in each forum. Let me tell you that this forum is a joke. There are maybe 5 people in this forum who know their stuff. In the Klipsch forum they are so much more educated and some of them are so damn good that I think they could have invented electricity. Everyone bashes the Klipsch horn. Why, because your jealous of it? They say it hurts them, that its painful. Well duh? Klispch speakers are much more efficient than other speakers, meaning when you listen to them you have to turn down the volume because they naturally play louder even though you may not realize it. Obviously after a while your ears will hurt, they would if you listened to Polks at a much higher volume for a long time too.
Finally as for RussMan. If I were to see you some day I would like to kick you in the nuts, then kick in your stupid head. You may think its really funny to go to Best Buy and damage other peoples property, but I don't. How about I come to your house and throw a brick threw your window. Would that be funny? It's damaging property, its illegal, its stupid, it cost other people money, and it makes you look like a dumbass. If there is one thing I hate it is when people do something that ends up hurting someone else or costing them money. I work hard for my money as do many other people and I don't think anyone would appreciate you comming to there store and launching speakers threw the air just because you have no life, moral, and think its funny.
This forum page lacks so much brains that it makes me sick. I am leaving and never comming back.

Have it your way. Don't know what Russ said, but maybe it was just to get your goat and it must have worked. As for me, everyone is welcome here and if you don't come back, my God bless you and your family.Oh, the bottle has been to me, my closes friend, my worse enemy!

I'm generally a fearless man, but I sure am scared to death of you......
I think he is referring to the 'bose bashing' at Best Buy, literally...
Anytime cocheese....feel free to send me an email, I'd be happy to meet you!!!
Cheers,
Russ
(ps, I really dig some of the older Klipsch models too...)

Well, I guess he or she feels better.
By the way... "especially" doesn't contain an "x", and electricity wasn't invented by anyonenot even a Klipsch owner.
Good luck in school.

Again, I laugh at you. Hahahah.

I reviewed zandern's other 2 posts HERE . No one including RuSsMaN said anything out of line to this person. He in fact was the last post on a thread started by Aaron when he auditioned some klipsch speakers and this is the way he started the post:First of all, you people are stupid. There is no hollow sound at all about Klipsch.
This really sounds like someone wanting informed opinions doesn't it? I enjoy people like dean/klipschead who at least brings some basic civility and knowledge to the discussion.
So to zandern:
Goodbye. Enjoy your Klipschs when your mommy gives you enough allowance to buy some and

Damn! You always hate to see people like that go.
Wonder how long it'll be before he comes back to read this.... -
You know he'll be back to read this thread. Too bad he'll be a pansy and be in stealth mode.

It also proves that:

The forum is better off without that kinda crap anyway!

Dear zandern,
I guess I really shouldn't be saying this on account of you ain't gonna be reading us anymore, but I have the sneaking suspicion that you'll be back--soon. When you do start reading us again, please tell give us a review on which speaker, Polk or Klipsch, you chose and why. This is of interest to me because I have had my Polks a long time, and dammit, I just want something new. Look for the entire showcase to be on sale sometime soon.
Say zan, how did you get in here anyway? Did you go to Circuit City and sneak behind the Polks just so you could copy a serial number and become a member of our esteemed forum? One would think that since you (allegedly) came in illegally you would have the decency to be nice to the legal, loyal, paying members.:pProud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country! -

LOL -- that's pretty much the same reasoning I'm using to get some LSi9's.
If you are serious, already have a sub, and don't want to go broke -- I highly recommend the RB5 bookshelf. I used these for two years. They have a very cohesive, tight, articulate sound. It will throw voices out into the middle of your listening room in a way that is quite impressive. I actually prefer the RB5 to the floorstanding RF3. It just sounds better, and also comes in real wood veneer instead of vinyl. Retail is $850, but I have seen them on the net for around $600 a pair.

Zandern --Not good. I'm not sure -- but I think I'm the only one from the Klipsch site that can rant here. Ben Franklin discovered electricity -- but he probably did have a set of K-horns. At any rate, please calm down and don't forget your meds before bed. I know I'm a bear when I forget to take mine:)

Dean,
Nah, just kidding about getting rid of the Polks. Just the random rantings of a bored insomniac.:(Proud and loyal citizen of the Digital Domain and Solid State Country! -
God!!! Some people should really consider switching to de-caf I swear!! LMAO!!!!

Zandern, I listen to my Polks at high volume for hours & hours, never hurt my ears. Polks, Klipsch and all other speakers have very different characteristics. What sounds good to me may not to you. And yes you can have too much bass. Balance is the key to music as it is in life. Try it, you might like it! Good Luck.Political Correctness'.........defined

I guess I am stupid and immature because I thought Russ's escapde was AWESOME!

speaker's are speaker's. There is one pair or more made to suit everybodies need's.You just have to go out and find them.
Klipsch has very loyal customer's as do Polk.So what.
If you like one brand over another, fine,I personally like many different kind's of speakers.I like Klipsch inwalls, they have a -3db high cut that you can set yourself,it makes the horn smooth and blend in with the driver.I like it,they should put it on there floor stands. But thats just me.
I wouldn't come in here callling people stupid,no brains and all that other stuff.we have alot of rookies in here.So what.Thats the fun of this fourm is that you can help people that need help.Talk to people that enjoy this fun hobbie of our's.Man people like that want to leave, thats fine, let him rip some **** in the klipsch forum.
I like all you guys!!

Mostly, it seems like a good group over there. Like anywhere though, there are a few bad apples.
