LOL! DEFINITELY a great bass song. Especially the double bass solo right in the middle.

A buddy of mine years ago had 2 MTX Road Thunder boxes with 10's in em powered by a Sherwood 240 and they were sitting in the back seat of his 70 Monte Carlo (not much for imagine but hey, we were 17 years old) and we would set things on top of the car and play that song just to see them bounce all over the roof!

This is old school stuff, we use to use some of these tracks when comparing subwoofers back in the early 90's, these are just large clean bass signals, nothing like the bass CD of today.

    You fvcking bassheads.
10" Pioneer TS-255C, ported tuned to 38hz with 25in^2 port area.

    Run off Profile CA1200 (900w@4ohm)
this would create a "sledge hammer" effect and a terrible localization of bass. lets say we downfire the sub... not only would it be localized, but the reflected bass waves would shoot right back at the cone and probably cancel out a lot of the sound... whereas the conical "normal" sub would allow these waves to bounce all around.

To add to this really old thread - Steppin' Razor by Sublime has some low hitting stuff (for somewhat normal music anyways).

actually the rat **** is quoting me.

i do not remember where that thread is located, but it was a thread concerning i believe Elemental Designs flat piston woofers.

Not quite sure why anyone is quoting me, but ok.

Especially since I believe I was proven wrong in that thread.

Just got into this thread so dunno if it was mentioned yet. I poped in Korn's untouchables cd the other day & I think track 4 has some of the best bass I've heard. I never noticed it with my gnx 10" but with the eclipse the bass line goes real low & loud. The whole cd is overblown with bass like this song but I think this has the lowest bass on the whole cd so to me its not as bad listening to loud.

Nothing fancy, just have to be a good balance between soundstage and how hard the midbass and bass kick you in the chest, or hard and fast double kicks
    Sevendust's "Licking Cream", "Denial", "Trust"
    Mudvayne's "Happy?", "Not Falling", "Dig"
    Korn's "Ball Tongue", "****"
    Lacuna Coil's "Veins of Glass"
    Metallica's "King Nothing", "One"

SPL (when I feel like loosening up the sub...)
Electronic Bass (from some Bass CD, can't remember)
Operation Blade (yeah, the one from the damn vampire movie)
    DJ Venom - Enigma

just about ant thing by Korn, Techmaster P.E.B., Bassboy, D.J. Laz, D.J. Magic Mike, Bass Mekanik. Their is just soooo much out there.

Bass out by Techmaster P.E.B. will give your subs a nice sub sonic work out, be careful with this one, if you don't hear bass any time during this song, take a look at your woofers they are moving pretty good during the "no bass" sections of the song, I can just pick up the tone, many that I know can not hear it.

Enjoy the silence by Lacuna Coil has some pretty dark driving bass.

NIB by Ozzy and Primus is another good one

Like I said there are to many.

    ***EDIT***
    Metallica's "King Nothing", "One"
    Totally forgot about that one.
