    Hey Sid--

Thanks for offering, but I would have to wait a little longer to buy. I don't want to hold up a sale, though, so..... Looks like it's up to HTRookie. That's a nice component, and a good price, IMO.

    Nope :)

Sounds darn good too - isnt even warmed up yet... definite improvements in the high end detail - particularly in the drums, I love that - the cymbals are much more detailed, natural - pronounced...all of it - the instruments are more vibrant and seperated - soundstage is even wider than before...so I am just all giggly over here... :D

I love very apparent changes...its awesome!

    Man I tell you what...

The system is...is... so much "louder" now - or really clear compared to before. I can hardly turn it up past -20 without enjoying it...use to have to turn it up to -12...

I really like this thing... only complaint is the remote - hard to memorize with really small buttons...

Man...the Denon is awesome in alot of ways... similar improvements it had over my last player...

Its just out-classed here, and in a completely different price zone... you wont be dissapointed in the Denon at all...

Especially at the price you are getting it...

Sid -- glad to hear you're enjoying you new CD player. Isn't the better detail and clarity fantastic?!!? You'll get a little more after burn-in.

Once you upgrade the opamps, it'll sound even better. No rush, though.

That may be a phenominal CD player, but I'll never buy from those guys.

I know 3 people that have had a bad experience (one on this board), and I don't like the guys I've encountered over at their forums

Congrats though, Sid, on a great player - maybe I'll snag one on Ebay one of these days...

Well... I have to say that since the owner of the company came on this forum personally and helped to correct the situation - I was pretty impressed.

You cant always have perfect experiences everytime, Im sure people have had bad experiences with Polk as well... ---- Hopefully the player will last a long time, I dont really have any desire to mod or change it - just want it to last a while as I dont have any plans of changing it anytime soon...

Thanks for all the replies folks!
