Ok, I'll throw my thoughts on this subject. Bi-wiring for me doesn't work, however using high end bi-wires and matching hi end jumpers together is the absolute shite. Don't ask me why, but it really works, so you might want to try that too.

I just received the Signal Cable Ultras (needed longer ones than before) bi-wired and have some jumpers from Anti-Cables. I would like to to try that.

I just dont have the magic ear I suppose. I try to really get into this stuff, but cant seem to notice the smaller details. Would lost of some hearing while serving in Afghanistan cause this? Should I listen with a hearing aid to notice these changes you guys experience ?

It seems to me that everyone who has HT speakers, of various brands, are trying to tame the tweets. I have been auditioning different brands of floorstanders, lately. Among those I have listened to are Polk RTI 12, a slew of Paradigm, can we say harsh, B&W, another bright one, PSB image, somewhat bright. The list goes on and on. Most of these I couldn't listen to for more than 5 minutes. The only alternative seems to be really expensive speakers, which isn't in the picture for me. There has got to be an alternative somewhere, but I haven't found it, yet. I don't know if I ever will.
