Just dealt with an offshore move. The Union went on strike and wanted more money, the company had already been planning to move oversees. This just sped up the process.
That sucks. But, doesn't it make you angry at the union for not finding another way to work this out that would benefit their members? I mean, any job is better than no job, and if you stonewall your job gets sent overseas. It just doesn't make any sense. You have to be realistic. And I don't think unions are realistic anymore, judging from their behavior.

But, the hell do I know, I'm self-employed?
If Angus had died and Bon had stayed on, AC/DC would have been far worse...
That's interesting. But I think upon reflection, altho Angus is nifty funny and cool, he's basically playing Chuck Berry riffs at volume. It's not complex stuff. He could be replaced. I think Bon Scott could have survived a new guitar player. But in my opinion the guitar player needs Bon Scott. Interesting thought, tho.

yeah Maddox is very entertaining- although I may disagree with some of his articles. I especially didn't like the one he did on Christopher Reeve (do a google for "Christopher Reeve Is An ****")

but I LOVED LOVED LOVED the one he did on Bill O'Reilly. So it's a give and take with that guy.

Yeah, I thought it was funny until I realized that all the guys losing their jobs. It's funny, everyone wants more money and cheaper goods. Typically those two don't go together.

On the AC/DC thought, if you lose Angus, you would also likely lose Malcom as well. Who knows: now flip to Van Halen. Which would have been the bigger loss? DLR or Eddie? In that case we did get a test and I would say, in general, that Van Halen post DLR was better than DLR solo gigs.

I'm sorry, there are some brands I DO want to support-so I buy their stuff. Also, I see no problem in wanting to look nice-stuff from wal-mart just doesn't appease my tastes. Am I a sell out? Guess so but, its all personal opinions-If I want a 90$ T-Shirt, its my **** choice. I won't call you out on your choice on something if you don't do the same to me. Oh, and thank you for being 'Pure' and buying from Wal-Mart, they do such great things for our economy.

It was my hopeless attempt to ruin the most popular thread on CP... right now.

    BUT that didn't work obviously.
I could post my real song but it would create awesome left vs. right argument and that's just not allowed here.

adam-please ignore my quest to get Micah to go off on another rant. Your little ditty did remind me of a Barney song, so I tried to push some buttons...it didn't work.

So, to summerize this thread so far:

    Bon Scott > Brian Johnson
    DLR > Sammy
    Floyd w/ Waters > Floyd w/out Waters
Micah brings DLR/Sammy debate in this thread, then kicks it out
Micah needs to get laid (and to get a haircut)
    Micah likes Greeks
    Walmart feelings are split
Nobody wants to be caught dead in Black Oak, Arkansas
A teacher screwed her teenaged student (lucky guy:D)
Micah is being plaugerized by another guy with his own website

    Anything else?

$2.059 here in Indy for the **** octane, which will make my old Chevy P/U knock like a diesel. So I have to pay $2.299 for premium, but it's worth it since I get about 3 mpg better with it and I don't have to listen to it knock.
