I agree. Seriously. I personally like the RTi sound better. For some reason, I just didn't dig the LSi sound. I'm not saying that they aren't great speakers, especially for the money, but they just weren't for me. They were too laid back for me. But I will say this, I'll bet you could listen to them literally all day long and half the night and never get fatigued by them.

damnit Marker! You're making it worse! I like my speakers like I like my women! Warm, laid-back, non-fatiguing.

    You're making it worse!

hmm... aren't the Lsi-7's like $3,000 a pair or something? Yeah I thought so.

    Nope. Too expensive.

There's a pair of 7's hangin out in the flea market for $400. But after the whipping that guy got I bet he won't be back. There's another pair for $450 in the flea market too.

    Marker,
Maybe you didn't like the Lsi because of the gear they were on or the way they were setup; I could be wrong though. They just might not be for you.

No man! You can pick them up for about $300, and your Adcoms would drive them. Matter of fact, I'll bet Adcoms are a good match for them.

They aren't AP. I wanted to like them, and I gave them every chance on all kinds of different gear, but to me, the NHTs sounded much better.

Seriously, RTi4's kick ****. They don't need any break-in time either. They are probably the best bookshelf pound for pound.

You are probably right. If there is a bad decision to be made, I will make it and I have the LSi's without even hearing the RTi's. You must be right.

Thankfully to my underdeveloped ear and uneducated brain, the LSi's sound absolutely awesome.

Then again, I keep getting sucked into the music I am listening to or the movies I am watching - it just sounds so real to me I forget where I am at. I should definately switch to something else so I can appreciate the sound of the speakers rather than just experience the sound of the music or movie.....

Up here in Greensboro they're nothing to shake a stick at. On campus however is another story. But campus is a smaaaaal part of Greensboro. To be fair though, I haven't been to the R/D area in over a year.

Man I was wondering who was going to chime in first.

It isnt hard for a kid to get something KILLER, killer ANYTHING. If kids just knew the POTENTIAL they have! ha!

I mean I started working when I as TWELVE. All because of this effing hobby. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.

    *Going to listen to music*

Slow and Steady wins a race, if you want the LSi series - save for them. That is that. Simple Simple.
