Watched DWTS off the DVR last night, but the wife had the remote. We must have fast forwarded past the promo. I hope I didn't delete it. Gotta go back.

You need to go back....the promo should be in the last hour of DWTS. It's quite funny at the end of the promo.

I have never heard of Castle until just now, but given the fact that Fillon is playing the lead...I'm IN!

He is currently my favorite actor.

The Halloween episode where Fillion dresses as Mal was a nice touch. I freakin' love this show, primarily because of the chemistry between the two leads.

I'm definitely downloading the first couple seasons when I get home (in a legal manner, of course!)

I just noticed that last week's episode of "Castle" was in the top 10 of the TV ratings. And to think this show was "on the bubble" for the longest time....

The show was a mid season replacement. Usually not expected to catch on. Fortunately, they've been able to ride DWTS carryover numbers to gain an audience and so a good show survives and prospers...many don't. Good thing for Fillion, good thing for us.

I finished the 10 episodes in season 1, and am now 1/2 way through season 2 and am definitely hooked.

I was hooked on the first episode! Liked Fillion ever since Firefly and then Serenity was over the top. My wife is not a SiFi fan but got hooked on Serenity.

Just in case anyone watches "Castle"....

Marvel Comics & ABC Studios announce hardcover graphic novel based on Richard Castle's characters....

    Richard Castle's Deadly Storm
?I am honored and humbled to see Derrick Storm join the ranks of some of the greatest heroes of all-time,? said Richard Castle. ?Being a part of the Marvel family is a childhood fantasy come true for me.?

This is called grabbing on to the **** while the cow's still giving milk. Castle is still a good show, but a bloated Killion, not hooking up with Kanic doing the crime of the week is already getting old. There have been some very good eps and some real yawners...but, let's score a few more mil with a limited addition printing and keep some of the writers working...sounds like a good idea.

    ...not hooking up with Kanic..

I have mixed feelings on those 2 hooking up. I use to watch Frasier just to see Niles & Daphne but once they hooked up I lost interest. If Castle and Beckett hook up, I want it to be the last season.

One of the strengths of the show is the Esposito/Ryan partnership, especially when they're making sly remarks about Castle and Beckett, "Mom and Dad are fighting again."

I agree there have been many yawners, especially for season 3.

    I badly miss Serenity/Firefly.

It was a good finale (Castle) but, I mean.... it's not really a cliffhanger. Shows don't just ditch their lead characters.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Me sorry! BTW, what have you been waitin for? You just as easily could have heard it being discussed on several radio & TV shows.

I don't have cable and OTA reception sucks at my house, so I'm resigned to watching everything on Hulu the day after.

I'm not too emotionally invested in "Bones," don't worry

subjectivity and expectations...I have very low expectations of sci-fi...probably due to watching too much mystery science theater 3000. With sci-fi you can't expect art, you can't expect good diologue, but you can expect to escape reality for two hours...which is all I ask. Both Serenity and Alien vs. Preditor allowed that escape and I was entertained...so in my book, good movies.

MST 3K was awesome....Comedy Central should bring it back.

Firefly and Castle connected again as actress Molly Quinn (aka Castle's daughter, Alexis) showed up at San Diego's Comic-Con as Captain Mal Reynolds....
