    Quick question....can this ELP be used in a HT type set up? If so, how? Connect it between the processor and the amp I suppose? Volume still controllable by remote? Can it be bypassed? Curious....as a total tube newbie...

    It's a 2ch tube preamp. Whether or not you can 'bypass' it, depends on what the other preamps in your HT can do.

    So ELP doesnt have a pass through switch or something so that hte tubes dont have to be on and the input signal is just passed through the amp....oh well...that would have been a cool feature so you can just use the tubes for stereo when desired. Thx.

    Mine was shipped friday, should have it next week.. Just receievd my 1986 jan phillips nos 6922's this morning also... can't wait!!
