Oh how fun it is to push the limits though isn't it?:D :D

Maybe in Oklahoma... there's no way that stat is even remotely true in New England. Like bikezappa said, but more so... if I drive less than 75MPH on the highway, I get beeped at, in ANY lane, and these are 55MPH highways, sometimes 65. I've gotten passed on side roads going 10 above the speed limit (like 45 in a 35).

The only way that stat is true is if more than half of the people on the roads drive during rush hour, when it's not physically possible to go the speed limit. Then I'd believe it.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

According to stats, 70% drive the speed limit.

Not in So. Cal. It's maybe 20% at best here. The speed limit is 65....70 in a few spots, but 80 is tolerated on the freeway by the CHP. In Oregon it's probably 90% that drive the speed limit. Best not be in a hurry there! I believe being a potty mouth and exceeding the speed limit are directly related too :D

I was wondering how this thread morphed from Russ getting dinged for a few 4 letter words to how many people disregard the speed limits. It's all so clear now.....
