    As for your measurements, your RT analyzers resolution is 1/24th Octave and is only measuring amplitude vs frequency which essentially only flat-maps a three dimentional variable.

    As you allude to, I'm only mapping max peaks over time in this example. I do have the tools to log all the data and show what ends up looking like a 3-D topigraphical map on crack, but I thought it would be too much for this forum so I kept it simple. ;) Depending on how you do it, 2 seconds worth of data could fill the whole screen.

    As for just showing max peaks, for example, some people say that IC's made with silver sound "bright", so I expected the max treble range peaks to be a little taller vs copper, but that was not the case.

    Anyway, forget the testing and just crank some tunes!

    I agree with the tunes. My neighbor thinks I'm a mad scientist. . .hunched over . . .carrying parcels covered with shrouds. . . and then the noise begins.
