As long as it's a high quality cable , brand here I found doesn't make any difference. I have used Kimber Kable , Transparent , Monster and even a cheap one from Mitsubishi (which was the worse out of the bunch)
Monsters Optical cables are well built. Pro Solutions also makes a nice optical cable.

Go with the cable that gives the most snug fit. I find that some that are too small, almost fall out when touched or moved around.
This is suppose to be a universal fitting, but brands vary.

I can't check right now because the shop is under maintainance, but I think the "newsletter" coupon for 30% off should still work. But if not, it's still only $53 and they ship for free. 90 day satisfaction guarantee. Great build quality...Never kick a fresh **** on a hot day.

Larry,
thanks for the link. I went ahead and ordered one from the guy.... from the reviews his cables have gotten.. it sounds like it would be worth a try. Cost seemed reasonable too.
