Oh yeah, I havnt added the foam padding - incase, Early or anyone is wondering, that will be the last thing I do, although I know it will be harder - it is just easier than cutting holes with it in there...

Foam Pads in place, lower part of cabinet...

Larger majority of the cabinet is covered, there is a huge difference in the amount of reverb with the foam pads in, and with them out - very nice move here, should cancel any back wave present...

Also, I started the other cabinet today...

I should have built a complete enclosure the first time, because I really learned a few things from piecing this past one together that sped up the process alot faster and allowed me to build it alot better...

Shall be interesting... will post pics when time comes... shouldnt be more than 1 week (2 weeks tops)

    Holy ****...

Hows the back of that mounting part look man?

I cut the hole 1/16th of an inch to small, and it might be a good thing...

I hate mounting frames like that, ugh!

Thanks for the pics man! Cant wait to hear your thoughts on the sound!

And here are the internal wires ready to go -- Tara Labs Prism bi-wire. Yeah, I know, overkill, but I had a few extra feet of it...

    And I have the PCi 22-31 (25-31 w/ free 22hz tune)

Are you kidding me? If I didn't know better, I would've thought "Sid's Sonic Sensations" was an adult toy manufacturer;) .

Can't wait to read your review after you've had time to play with them.

    Sid,
Great work. I'm very impressed. Looks very professional. You should design an emblem for your speakers now.

    Err...Hell..

I'm just glad these turned out the way they did...

I went into this project SCARED...
*NEVER**** worked with angles before...much less a speaker that had to look good on the outside and wasnt being covered with cloth...

I think it turned out good, I just hope Brad (Early B) remembers I am a student and just learning ;) - as there are imperfections on the cabinets, its just all part of the process...things that happened this time around would not happen again....

But, I like them, they turned out really well, kinda sucks to know their not mine! LOL

    Anyways...

    Thanks Organ...

    An emblem... dun dun dun...

    I'll think up something

Cabs were built off of Fostex's recomended design...

My God, do people actually build things like that?? Better hope a cat never gets stuck in one of those...

    LOL

    Now my black labs...

I covered the hole up, but a cat could easily fit in there...

    Thanks...

Now that I look at it...

It actually wouldnt be to hard to do...

Just as long as you built it with one side off...

Only way I would attempt to do it...
