    Wow! I could not have picked a better time to re-establish an internet connection!

    Here I am, back up here in MD, just getting settled down again after the move over a month ago... and what's this? a Polk get-together?

    I'll have to keep checked in and make sure I don't miss it. Maybe I'll have the parts put onto my car by then and it won't look like rags. Or... maybe I'll have to hang my head in shame and put the setup in my wife's car for the trip.

    In any way, I'll be keeping up again here.

    Word is the get-together is still on but not for a while. The Big Dawg is just too busy right now.

    I think theyre shooting for September or thereabouts.

    I didnt even think of that coinciding with schooling. I guess we need to get on the guys to set it up in the summer.

    Is the location going to be at the Polk Headquarters or are they renting a convention center or something?

    September is pretty solid so I wouldn't expect much change at this point.

    I'll update the thread when we finalize a little closer to that time.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Thanks. I guess we'll wait patiently. At any rate it gives me some time to finish up my prototype box to be unveiled at the get-together. That and afford a new H/U :(

    I don't know if I really feel like attending anymore. This place has left a bad taste in my mouth (Club Polk as a whole, not just Car Audio) and I really don't care for the particular hue of the true colors that have come to light recently. If I do attend anything, it will be the Polk Audio HQ tour and that's it. My desire to socialize with the rest of the participants of these forums has greatly diminished.

    I'm not very strong but i'm of the big type lol. i'm very coordinated and have decent stamina for weighing in at like 250 haha. Once I get my second wind there usually isn't any stopping me...
