    I was just thinking, might have to make this, not an if and or but. Especially if we can get a peak, or a listen at the new comps. For those of us who are closer to there too, who can drive there, it would be great to check out what everyone has, listen, advice, etc. I know me and Jstas have about the same driving time...

    Then I mis-judged it. I never drove myself there, I took a few rides there, and it has been a while. I was guessing. But I should be right around the same distance/time

    Hell it would be worth it even if we didnt get to listen to the new comps.

    I would do it just to learn about the process involved in making speakers.

    Thats true, I'm not saying that would be the only reason to go, but would make it better. I'd love to go no matter what.

    Depending on the date that is set for the tour, those things could possibly be in the stores by then.

    I don't think anyone on this earth can really answer that one. Too many variables between now and whatever the planned ship date are.

    Just curious. Are the Signature speakers complete or are they still being fine tuned?

    Given the state of car audio competitions... your offer doesn't mean too much It doesn't help if you're showing off your car to 10 people a year.:)

    Judging by the couple events Ive been to and reading some of the forums, it does seem as tho car audio competition is going the way of the doe-doe.

    I think MECA was on the right track by offering normal people like me who do all their own work, dont want to rip out their dash and kick panels for custom fiberglass ones and who dont have a $50,000 custom install, a shot at competition. But judging by the forums, its going downhill.

    SLAP puts too much emphassis on appearance, which is cool as it is part of their name but doesnt interest me.

    USACi has 5 shows scheduled in Tennessee this year so I may try my hand at a couple of theirs but Ill be going up against custom kick panels and all that crap so who knows.

    15 years as a car audio enthusiast ans the year I decide to try my hand at competing, they start to die off. :mad:

    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
