I would count that as a wonderful thing.

I've only been to Dallas, but one statement can summarize it:

Dont get me wrong. Its nothing against the northeast just that I dont fancy being gone for 3 weeks straight.

Id miss my wife for one. Not to mention my computer and Xbox. Plus not being able to hit the gym for 3 weeks straight would drive me crazy. I can feel myself getting smaller just thinking about it! :D

C'mon now. I may be a southern boy but Temple, Texas is my adopted home town.

You shouldve ventured out of Dallas. There is some of the most beautiful scenery in that state.

I think Austin is one of the coolest looking cities in the country!

And yeah Texas is hot but thats just to keep the girly men out! :p

Actually, couldn't venture out since I was in Dallas for less than 24 hours.

And Cody, let's see you deal with 0 degree windchills :D

Exactly. Today I walked a half a mile into the wind which was -20 degree windchill.... I'd rather have a mile walk in the blistering heat and humidity than that.

    Gotta good point there!

When I was driving a truck long haul, I was in Wyoming getting gas. It was 9 degrees and 40 mph winds!!!!! I have never felt that much pain from cold in my life! I literally thought I was going to pass out!

Come to NJ. Summers regularly reach 95 and up which doesn't seem to bad but, talk to any NJ resident and they will tell you that 80% humidity or lower is considered low here. However, right now, it's a blisteringly hot 11 degrees with 20-30 MPH wind gusts and windchills in single NEGATIVE digits.

Wonderful...it's snowing here. Right now, only like 5 inches or so, but when all said and done, supposed to be up to 15 inches, which means probably even more...You don't get that in Texas. :)
