    An aggie is a student of, or graduate from TAMU. The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas (A&M).

    "Aggie" is also used as an insult for the those of low intelligence. Though, even as an insult, it refers to A&M.

    I woke up next to an aggie before, and wished it was a tumbleweed.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Not "a former student" myself, but I sent a fair chunk of change to College Station for 5 years. It sorta followed my daughter there...

    BTW, exalted, she was in the Corps of Cadets. Even rose to Corps staff her 4th year. She oversaw the Recruiting effort for better part of the year.

    i would say a good half of my friends here are in the corps of cadets
    they are better people than me...no stereo, tv...hair...lol

    Yeppers... tough to post a GPA in the corps... although some manage...

    Good folks though... The Marine units tend to be a little on the crazy side of crazy... My daughter was Navy in C-2.

    some of the stuff they have to do to earn priviledges is pretty funny...
    they had to make spurs out of coat hangers and have metal bottle caps for the "spur" part
    some units had to have like 40...lol...funny stuff
