In fact, everything I don't like should be illegal. After all, that's what the old people that come in the store say all the time about the loud bass coming out of car stereo. 'That oughtta be illegal.'

Why do old people have to be so goddamn mean anyway? It's not my fault you don't know how to program your VCR! Why are you even using a VCR anyway?

And quit comparing HDTV to the VHS-Betamax war, There's HDTV and then there's crap; if you are too cheap to get an HD-ready tv, say so. But don't come in bitching when your analog tv is a paperweight in a few years.

Speaking of paperweights, don't complain about your DVD player breaking after four months when you got it for $29. You knew you were buying a **** DVD player when you got it. You are lucky it worked out of the box! :D

    Ima agree with George (shocker)

    Everything pisses me off

And I have yet to figure out why hats are considered disrespectful inside? If you don't like it, look elsewhere...jeez

I hate the old people who will drive slow as can be when your behind them, but as soon as you get a spot where you can pass their slow ****, the speed up. Or when people argue with you over rules and regulations you didn't make. I get that at my summer job all the time. Irritating...

That's an interesting quetsion. Why is wearing a hat a sign of disrespect? Like tryrrthg, I get physically angry when folks don't take off their hat for the Nat'l Anthem, but only because it's tradition, I dont' know WHY it bothers me.

I was always under the impression that wearing a hat was rude because it hid your eyes from view. But this may not really be the case.

It's another thing when you're in a nice restaurant and someone's wearin ga baseball cap. You just look like a slob then, let alone disrespectful. There was a good Sopranos episode with this situation in it :)

If what I hate were to be illegal, stupid people would be a felony.

Oh yeah, and the hat thing....... it's just culture. It started with the tipping, or lifting of the hat to show respect. It is proper to lift the hat with the right hand, unless the right hand is busy, then the left is acceptable. To incorporate the hat into the bow would be to remove the hat with the right hand, and cross your body to the left with your hat in your right hand. To remove your hat indoors is a sign of respect while in the building. It is not so important in a public building as it is in a home, to show respect to the family, friends, hosts, etc.

Personally, it doesn't make me a difference unless you are at my table, or during the SSB. If you don't take the hat off for that, I'll do it for you. It's a southern thing I guess.

Young guys who THINK they hate everything.

It takes YEARS to develop a true hatred for everything. Hatred has to be nurtured. It has to be slowly developed. It needs to simmer for years.

My hatred for everything is the Great Mother of all Hatred. The Sistine Chapel of Hatred. The Mona Hatred. The Great Wall of Hatred. The Iron Hatred.

Younger guys just can't hate the way an older hate specialist can. I have a degree in both Hateology AND Hatenautics. I am qualified to teach Hate.

When I really hate something you can see the actual hate "rays" coming off me. I possess a scientifically measurable hate aura as it were, that has been seen in certain photographs that were taken of me.

If you think "old people" are jealous towards young people for that reason or any reason for that matter, you don't have a clue. Oh yeah, give me a night with your honey and you'll never see her again unless I gotta bag her face.

Paying my city for 100,000 gallons of sewer processing when I only used 7,000 gallons of water last month!

I moved the family to our future home, so I'm a bachelor 'til January with the highest sewer-to-water ratio in town.

Costs me $50 for something I don't use and $7 for the water.

Utility company says "Nothing we can do sir until your next rating period"! Yeah, the rating period isn't until February!

    Such is life,

Hmmmm, how 'bout paying property taxes on a house you OWN FREE AND CLEAR, because if you DON'T, they TAKE that beotch AWAY! It wouldn't be so bad but $4,500 a year COME ON! Some people pay less than that for their friggin mortgage. And home-owners insurance...... $3,500 a year. GEEEZUUUUS

I would have felt better if it woulda been beer consumption.

Actually last year during the rating period, I seeded my bluegrass yard and watered the hell outta it and have been paying the high sewer bill since then. We don't have sewer meters, they simply figure noone puts water on the yard in Jan, Feb, or Mar, and they don't tell you which month they will test so you can't manipulate it.

Well, I watered heavily in March of '04. Normally my sewer used to run about $12.

actually, ive been here since september of 2001 and have closer to 4300 posts, and if you think yours are worth reading, then mine def. are too
but actually that is something that pisses me off
when someone young knows better than someone old, but since they are older they dont take your opinion and are just about as ignorant as you can get
or the that they always say "young people now days dont know anything, theyre troublemakers, they have no discipline"
thats is so stupid that i dont even know where to begin
"hey, letters generalize 25 million people into one simple category that they are all worthless"
    yea, bull s*** grandpa
(this wasnt about anyone in here, just something that pisses me off)
and btw, the pills comment was meant as a joke too
    so while im at it
old people who cant take a joke even though his owns peers knew they got told so they have to impress their friends with a whitty come back like "A hand full of raw chicken ****."
