hum ... hum ... and more hum

I've incorporated into my home theater system a new ATI 300 watt amp. It's a beast! Everything sounds great when listening to music, but when I incorporated my Dish Network receiver into the mix, I get a very audible hum. If I disconnect the sat cable from the sat receiver it will go away.

My amp owner's guide says to install a 75ohm ground loop isolator. Will installing the ISO-MAX CATV-compatible "Hum-Stopping" Ground Loop Isolator from the POLK website, eliminate this? I've tried some cheaper items that did not work.

Thanks for any help!
