    and ronald... anyone, nomatter what their car preferance, who know's jack squat about cars respects the HEMI... i'm not talkin about the weaker new hemi's that are going into dodge rams now (although they are good enough engines in their own rite) I'm talking the old school 426 HEMI the only true hemispherical motor. When you trash talk the Hemi all you do is show how little you know. Every racer that i know, be it imports or muscle, respects the Hemi.

    Ill go out on a limb here and say that the 426 Hemi is the baddest street legal engine to EVER be produced!

    That being said, the 1971 Hemi Cuda is the baddest street legal car EVER to be produced! Whats that old saying. "The only thing a Hemi Cuda couldnt pass was a gas station".

    I always thought that if I were to win the lottery I would take my beloved Dodge and cram a 426 Hemi in there. Hell is should fit fine seeing as these engine compartments can carry the Cummins diesel (which by the way is the baddest diesel around).

    how do these HEMI 426 compare to the LT1 and LS1 motors?? Aren't those the best for Americans??

    Its mostly a brand loyalty thang. Chevy guys will tout the LS6 and LS7 and with good reason. They are pretty bad ****.

    But most Chevy and Ford loyalists will concede that the 426 Hemi when tuned and set up right is awfully hard to beat.

    Now typically i'd agree with you on that...

    BUT...

    Don't forget the 440 magnum in the Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird with the supercommando automatic... This was the car that got MOPAR banned from nascar for being too fast afterall... for a while every race was won by a superbird and they were streetlegal to boot. given a showdown between a stock cuda with the 426 and a stock superbird i think i'd have to put my money on the superbird...


    btw, does anyone else think we should have our own off topic forum? ya know, somewhere where we can talk about cars and the other junk that we're into? cause for the most part the car audio guys and HT guys are seperate entities...

    I read this whole forum and never heard the word eclipse. I only like polk for speakers and run eclipse subs for my bass. The new sw9 jus came out and their specs look ^^. Polk make some aluminum subs! not shiny polypropelyne >.< Hurry b4 i upgrade to sw9 lolz

    Polkaudio makes the best speakers i just think they sound best to me. Aluminum sounds best for subs to me and it looks better too O.o SQ subs that hit real hard in sealed mmmhmhmm

    Have you ever heard an H2 properly powered? KABOOM! To date Ive not heard anything hit harder or deeper. Those are my favorite SPL sub and I wouldnt be afraid to use them in a SQ competition either.

    Agreed, the H2 is one of the most impressive drivers I have seen, though powering it can become quite expensive.
